Saw him last week and holy smokes the amount of people in the crowd with their jaws dropped listening to his voice. Friend I was with was terrified of him after this song. Brilliant job. Hopefully he gets the chance to hit up Broadway and rock that stage now that the tour is done.

Had the opportunity to see him perform the role of Hades on two tours of Hadestown. I’ve only seen original cast on video and recording but Quinn seems better suited for the role. And the way he handles the bass parts ring powerful and clear. Love the show…especially with him being in the cast.

When I saw Hadestown for the first time, it was his rendition of this song that really solidified this as one of my favorite Hadestown songs Also his best performed song (which is saying a lot)!

I was expecting to see Antonio in Norfolk last night and was surprised to see John Krause playing Orpheus. I just assumed Antonio had taken Holy Week off. Then I saw the Playbill article today. I feel so bad for him too. I also hope he can get back on stage soon.

It’s awful, I’m from Canada and the process is so slow and the workers at USCIS are lazy. After I graduated I could get a year visa, they sent it with an incomplete address (and they had my correct address) so it was sent back. They then took 3 months to resend it, and that was with me calling them everyday and trying not to get hung up on the lazy workers that said I just needed to wait, turns out I eventually talked to someone helpful and they could change my case to priority and it was sent out soon after that. I had a job offer and they were kind enough to wait and then because of their mistake I suddenly could only work for 9 months. They’re not incentivized to work fast or efficiently because what else are you gonna do?

I was really lucky to see Quinn as Hades on tour about a year ago. I love him because he managed to stay so melodic. Even amazing basses like the original Hades often just turn to gravel at such low notes, but he keeps the musicality of it. It really makes you believe that this was the Hades that managed to serenade Persephone all those years ago.
