Very good question my apologies for replying late to this… cruiser is by far my most played ship class and I have played over 80% of the cruisers and t10 so when you play so much cruiser you can look at the stats and figure out play-style rather quickly… the biggest difference between a dd hunter and a cruiser hunter is AP pen, I’ll use Hindenburg as an example, Hindenburg is a cruiser killer but the ap pen past 7km will hit dds for 10k if aimed properly, so it does both very well… but Moskva has to much ap pen so it destroys cruisers but overpens dds, zao has perfect ap pen to clap dds but not enough to consistently deal with cruisers, i hope that makes sense and if it doesn’t I can try to better explain in my next video

I’ve played very little of legends but some at t7 and it seems they are much easier to kill especially with much better radar then we have here

I shy away from saying Nevsky because ppl are going to end up playing max range kiting

@@matt_rage8578 Well, yea, but at the same time, it's a more comfortable platform to learn important skills like kiting, aiming for weakspots, and shooting at DDs when you get the chance

You would think that but the more I’ve tested it the more I’m liking detection… I take it on Slava, black repub, Yamato and a few others… being I spotted for longer at the beginning sometimes gives you juicy broadsides because people don’t expect it

Seems like an ok thing to do on snipers, but french battleships are a mysterious and confusing thing to play imo.

Also my average on eu is about 5k higher than it is on na, all I am saying is as long as you play with common sense and your positioning is sound, a lot of good things can happen

As new account in eu u can drop on wr or damages as u wish,with premium ships without grinding,we are talking in general,seeing players playing without meta is crazy lol

hello @jclorden, I played a lot of games with Des Moines legendary module and found that i miss the dispersion more than the range, sometimes you do miss the extra range on maps like encounter and others where the enemy tends to sit further back, but i have found that with space camo that gives you 4% more range, running without range mod is a very viable way to play Des Moines.... Now Buffalo, Buffalo and Salem have very different play style simply based off turret layout, Salem is made for more island play and with less range its much more of a staying power or pushing power type ship... Buffalo on the other hand has about 1km longer range which allows you to kite open water more easily, also the shells are slightly more acurate allowing you to hit your target more presicely at range.. in the end both are good ships and for randoms i would probably play buffalo
