I have no wish to be petted, nor pet animals, as I never feel fully charge of the situation. As an engineer, I like to pet all the engineering products which I handle, as any form of transport and utilities including land, air and ocean going crafts, which have a beauty of their own, and sometimes they can take over and kill me too. I try to be ahead of them through my knowledge. I deal with aircraft and ocean going liners, bringing them to life, or after they were sick, due to some failure. It is fascinating understanding, an aircraft or an ocean going liner, and then certify it that it can fly, or cross the oceans with 4,000 or more people on board or indeed a container ship with 18,000 containers on it. I rather leave animals to fend for their own, I love to see them through a camera. One of the most unbelievable knowledge I learnt as an engineer was to study the animals, if one ever needs to design some engineering craft. When it comes to wings, copying the wing tips of the tail flukes of dolphins , whales and fish will give the most efficient wing tip one can design. All animals are computers which evolve to solve a particular functions, as flying, or crossing oceans, or running on land, their shape is my interest and they have many hidden wonders that many people do not notice, as they can only notice the emotional link through the animal having some fur around it. I would say that man and women should pet each other and they have no need to stupidly go and pet animals, as they need to operate within accepted limits. With a man petting a woman or a woman petting a man, or when flying an aircraft or coaxing a 200,000 ton ocean going container ship, well, that is a lot of petting, and we usually stay in charge of the situation, however, my big warm engineering products and " prosthetic aids" that help me along to live life do bite back on many occasions, as when they are misused by pilots like Arthur Bud Holland of B-52 died when the B- 52 turned around and Edwards Smith of the Titanic and the Captain of the Concordia who is still in prison, all being being so stupid operators rather than parents or doctors to these wonderful engineering craft. .

Wolves avoiding humans is not as true as people think. Wolves WILL actually stalk humans just like any other source of meat depending on the situation OR out of sheer curiosity....which may later lead to your danger depending on what their situation is. Wolves are becoming increasingly comfortable with humans AND increasingly more comfortable with hunting them if need be.
