@rrydinhigh2452 yeah you can't go 100% in the canyon. But that's no reason to only do track riding. You learn how to cope with unforseen variables when you ride canyons.

@bqueen_1340cc - I'm not suggesting "only" track riding. I'm suggesting don't "go hard" on public roads. That's all. Well, you do you. When I go to the canyons, I'm there to "take in" the beauty. If I'm traveling @ 100 mph, I might miss some spectacular views 😄. My view 👀 might be the inside of a paramedic truck 🤕! -😆

@rrydinhigh2452 yeah it's a possibility anywhere you ride anytime you get on a bike, or a car. We weren't pushing it when that occurred. If we had been I'd have been off the cliff and my friend would've been inside the trunk of the cop car. But I agree with you in general. I do a lot of track days.

Front tire is never on the line except to pass. There's cutouts on the road surface around the line. Those are way more dangerous than the paint itself. You can't hit those at lean. The paint is the least of my worries.

@MotorcycleMayhem595 I think they're for the snow plow? Idk what they're for really. But they'll lowside you or give you speed wobble if you're too hard on the gas when you hit them

Yeah kinda but really if the riders had been traveling closer to the speed limit they should have had time to stop. The camera bike looked like it was doing in excess of 95mph as it came around that blind turn.

This is only to blame on these fools. They were doing well over double the limit, like usual. If they were doing the speed limit and not treating the public road as a race track, they easily would have been able to stop

I'd rather not say exactly where it is. It's in the mountains in California. An suv ran out of gas. It was basically a blind corner. I had 3 bikes behind me so I slowed enough to go through the dirt and end up on the other side of the suv. While I was slowing, the number 3 bike in our group hit the number 2 bike and then my bike.
