I am currently 12000 km into my oil drain interval and 1 year is just in a couple of weeks using a 5W-20 Mobil1 EP HM. I am planning to keep this oil for another year. It looks nice and clean. And the car haven't used a drop of it. I am sure 2 years and 25000 km are doable with no visible change in oil level.

Premium cars need Premium gas. If you want to cheap out, get a Nissan Sentra. I love people who want an expensive car but are too cheap to put in the right gas.

We get the Castrol BOT 402 GL4 synthetic manual transmission fluid here in South Africa, and it did wonders for my Nissan Sunny's gearbox. No more gear clashing when it's cold, and much smoother shifting. Can I run this oil for a 100k kilometres and then replace it again?

Thanks for the information. I just bought a 2009 RX350. Didn't realize it's says PREMIUM GAS ONLY on the gas cap.LOL. Anyway saw your video and many of the comments. Seems like it would be OK to run lower octane but I'm going to do some more research just to be safe.

How long did you have to wait for windshield? We have been waiting almost 2 weeks , there's a back order and they couldnt give us any eta. We are waiting for OEM due to ADAS windshield and calibration needed.

The ESP is a full PAO ester blend which is a good oil for over 10k miles however if its in a turbo fitted car or booated engine still change it under 10k high heat brakes down the oil makes it acidic which causes problems on long drain intervals. Point is if its good for over 10k great but still change it under 10k because the way people drive and climate, hot weather and cold weather the heat cycles all contribute to oil breakdown. Long drain oils are much better because they are formed from natural gas not crude oil but dont go thinking change it over 20k miles because these are all twsted in controlled laboratories and not in real world applications and or driving styles weather etc. Also amall amounta of blowby cause oil dilution so its better to change it between 5 and 10k anyway to be sure. Point is long drain oils are very good oils, much better than standard blends just dont run them at 20k if you want look after your engine better.

In my diesel truck. It will run forever. Then it might start with just enough power to start the truck if you turn it off. But dead battery and dead alternator truck will run till you shut it down. Because diesel engines run off friction and compression. The best thing about most diesel truck. We have 2 batteries. So it means i can Jumpstart my truck off the other battery. Unless both are dead. One more thing, if alternator and batteries are dead. It's just a matter of time that there will be no lights of any kind.

Guys I was in the same situation as most of you wannabe Lexus owners. If you are thinking of whether to buy premium gas or cheaper gas trust me go buy a Honda that will give you that crisp feel of acceleration. Work hard for 2-3 years more and then come back to buy a Lexus 350 or higher engine volume. Those 200s are useless! Stick to 300+ engines. And premium gas (Costco) is still an affordable option but wait for 2-3 years and it will be worth it. Even hybrids are good option. I would prefer 2 wheel drive over AWD as it is more reliable.
