Totally agree except with some surplus military ammo. I got introduced to cordite in a couple of bandoleers of 303 British. Very filthy and corrosive stuff. My SMLE still has a cherry bore so I sold it cheap to coworker with a beater that loves the recoil.

Parts 1-3 were fine. This one is more of a tease "look how easy I can do it". A few close-ups, details on where the parts should end up for easier installation of the next parts, are essential. There's no way a first time assemblyman could follow this. Please redo this Steve, you can easily reduce the frustration for many people relying on your typically expert guidance.

The answer is: yes. It doesn’t matter the rifles purpose. 🇺🇸

The day I entered Brownells for the first time was a very special day for me. I just pledged allegiance and became a US citizen in Des Moines. Drove straight to Brownells with my family. At the entrance, my boys were offered toy water guns. I got to talk with most employees, and spent a fantastic time. I wished I could have bought my first 1911 that day. Biden economics meant I couldn't afford much, my wife bought me a lancer mag that I keep wrapped with reciept till this day. Love Brownells story and that its an Iowa institution.

C-more Optics did a Colt remake of these with amazing glass, lit reticle and was just 2nd to none. If you're lucky to find one these days, grab it no matter the price! But I'm glad to see brownells is reproducing them in case I never see another c-more version pop up.

Caleb, you made me feel a bit better. Putting the bolt back into the gun isn't easy. Not that you struggled, it's tricky. And the, putting it back into the stock. That's also a bit tricky. Great video. Now, what's the best way to remove lead from a barrel?

The never should’ve made this gun. The replaced the Glock 17 with this gun, a uglier Glock 17

two does with Federal Fusion. One at 85 yards dropped in her tracks from a quartering to shot. The other at about 110 yards ran about 30 yards from a broadside shot. Used 16" AR with Burris RT-6

Finally I get a straight awnser from someone. So it’s the same exact amount of recoil just spread out over a longer period of time making it feel like reduced recoil

One point to clear up that you stated the steel case is harder than brass case and it really isn't. I saw an interview with a member of management from wolf ammo inc a few years ago where he stated that wolf steel cases were only about 1.1 hrc hardness so almost no difference between brass and steel now, but the only real difference will be the bimetal jacket on the bullet and it took between 15k to 20k rds to notice any appreciable difference and by then the savings would absolutely buy you another entire gun!!!

I put a power custom release decades ago really not impressed on the idea it was always bumping up against say a branch or clothing and dropping the magazine out i keep on on but something to think about

Like it or not, it works on the rough Glock parts. "Filling it up" - that's just stupid. Polishing CONTACT POINTS will make the Glock smoother. Is that a "Trigger Job"? Maybe not, but it helps.

just my opinion, but considering all barrel nut material, have their pros & cons. such as corrosion, durability, longevity, heat tolerance, light weight. etc. etc. I would really think, as long as you followed OEM instructions, & guidelines. it would really just be up to the end user, of what type of material used for their chosen barrel nut. only depending on the type of specific build, they are trying to accomplish.

Congratulations, Brownells. I appreciate you guys, especially for those cheap M4 RAS rails about a year ago. That was awesome. I wish I could spend more, but money has been tight. I need one of those DD M4A1 FSP uppers. A layaway program for loyal customers would be awesome, though I know it's pronot possible. Thanks
