Sx 900 is better Sound quality than A5000 Sx 900 have Bluetooth feature too A5000 have arabic oriental voices and styles which is only attraction But no Bluetooth And even sound quality P480 And Sx 900 have 4k I love all arabic styles and beats Love to use arabic keyboard But we can use arabic Turkish Oriental voices in sx900 too I think sx900 is better All types of expansions we can install and use .

Such a sad loss. I only ever knew him via KZfaq clips and had nothing but admiration for him as a gifted and expressive multi style keyboard player and let's be honest, an entertainer who LOVED what he did. I guess he'll have to learn the harp now and make all the angels cry with the beautiful sounds he makes with it. He always seemed to have a devilish sense of humour so I wonder if he sneaked a Genos in while no one was looking.

Now if people can't hear the difference, they need to get their ears checked. Not gonna dis the G1. It's great as it is and especially as it's now available 2'nd hand way cheaper then a new G2. I have both and even those styles and sounds that is in both, sounds clearly better in the G2. I fully understand those that say the G2 is too expensive. It's all in the "ears" of the beholder

@@OrgaforumRo I've seen the extremely unusual contact stripe. Is this stripe used in any other instrument ? Or is it unique ? In addition, this ultrasonic device can clean it to make the contacts work again if they've gone bad ?

Contact tape was used on older models from Yamaha, the ultrasonic machine only cleans the dirt

It was painful tu gather that shitload of money but it was one of my best purchases . Bought in combo with the gns 01 factory sound system which sounds stunning. Great playing, nice demonstration. G2 is a damn good instrument.

Thing is Leigh, there is an equally huge market for pro-midi sound modules, and I can't understand why Yamaha haven't produced one with GENOS sounds. Ketron are well into it with the EVENT module (EVM). I've been asking Yamaha (or, 'Yamaha Don't Listen' as they're often reffered to) for years about it, but never a response. I think you would have more influence though.
