Did you put the effect of solvents wrong on the characteristic of natural rubber? Because natural rubber suppose to reacts easily with acids, alkalis and organic solvents right? As said in the textbook.

In the presence of the electric field, the positive ions in the flame are attracted towards the cathode (negative plate). The electrons and any negative ions are attracted towards the anode (positive plate). Charge separation causes an electric wind which is movement of charged particles resulting in a net flow of ions towards the cathode. As ions move, they can transfer momentum to neutral particles in the flame through collisions, causing a bulk movement of the gas. This effect can push the entire flame towards the cathode. The net effect of the ion movement and the electric wind is that the flame appears to be attracted to and moves towards the cathode.

1:46 hello kind teacher , excellent video ,i love all your content and how you explain concepts in a very easy and understandable way ,but I want to bring your attention the overseen accidental mistake you made here 1:46 ,you meant the point of sublimation or the point that the dry ice evaporates is -78,5 degrees Celsius ,not condensation right?

I'm a complete Chemistry noob, but I have now to be helping an 8-grader so I'm basically studying Chemistry. Would it be fair to say that the fewer electrons atoms have on their outer shell, the easier it is to lose electrons (as in Group 1) vs. the more they have, the more likely it is they'll attract an electron (as in Group 17)?
