i love these videos of yours. whispering is one of my favorite triggers, but a lot of times i can’t fall asleep to it. i watch it during the day to relax. because people tend to speak too fast and i don’t find that relaxing. the speed you whisper at is very nice. love the ear to ear. any chance you would make some korean lessons like this? there are some but usually asmrtists stop after a couple videos, it never advances. either way, keep it up. i’ll continue to look forward to these videos 🤍

A pep talk is a speech that is intended to encourage someone!

"That's rich coming from you" is a phrase used to call out irony. Sarcastic and very casual, it would look like this. "That guys outfit is too colourful." The person speaking is wearing neon yellow jacket and his friend says sarcastically: "That's rich coming from you." For this R sound the tongue is floating, not touching the roof of the mouth, arrrrrr is a good practice "This is what you asked me to give you." You used this phrase very well, the tricky word is asked, pronounced like ask-d sounds like 크뜨 with short vowel sounds "Don't change the subject" example: "I would like to get a pet, what do you think?" "I'm hungry, lets go eat" "Don't change the subject, lets talk about getting a pet." "it was all for nothing" You did well with this one too! "I carried a bucket of water all the way up the hill but it was all for nothing because there was a hole in it and now the bucket is empty." "That is a difficult decision, let me sleep on it." sleep is pronounced with a long 이이 sound "I second that idea" is used when in a larger group setting to support an idea without forcing everyone to agree. "I want to go eat beef." "I second that idea." "Don't go asking for trouble" is used to describe ideas and actions that could be dangerous. "I want to go chase that big dog." "Don't go asking for trouble, it might bite you." "We just clicked." You pronounced it perfectly, the -ed sound is hard but you got it right!! "I never met her before but it feels like we are best friends already, we just clicked." "I really like him, we get along so well, we just clicked." Usually used to describe a situation with someone when talking to someone else. "Can I get your number? I feel like we just clicked." Is a more natural way to use it directly to the person. "You made my day." or "it just made my day." used to describe something that made your day better or more exciting. "A person at the grocery store complimented my outfit, it made my day." I think you did a great job with this phrase! Your English is improving a lot, I am trying to learn Korean and listening to your hard work gives me courage to keep going, and of course the ASMR is also very satisfying. I love the new asmr sound. the popping sound. I actually like it more than the mouth sounds. Idk why, but I don't like mouth sounds from anyone. I know it's popular but mouth sounds are like nails on a chalkboard to me. But! Great video! Thank you 😊

English is a difficult language that has rules that are confusing and don't make sense. I admire anyone who tries to learn it. For example, the word "ask"(묻다). It's pronounced Ah-SS-ka. There are 3 sounds spoken in one syllable. And then, when you express it in the past tense as "asked"(물었다) from looking at it you might think it's pronounced Ah-SS-ka-ED. The "ed" sounded as Ea-Ded. But that is incorrect. I can't explain the reason why but the word "asked" is pronounced Ah-SS-ka-Tuah. The "ed" is sounded as two sounds slurred together : Tu (like the "tw" in 2) and Ah. However, some other words in the past tense the "ed" is prounced as "Dah". Like the word "remembered" (기억하다) .Or "stah", like the word "pronounced" (명백한). I understand the confusion to understand this. It makes no sense. I notice Koreans will pronounce the "EE" sound that comes at the end of words. For example, the word "fake"(가짜). Like in the BTS (방탄 소년단) song "Fake Love". BTS will sing the word as Fay-Ka-EE. This is incorrect. The "e" is not pronounced. The word is sounded Fa-ee-kAH. The "e" is there simply to indicate that the "a" vowel is sounded long "a-ee" and not short "ah". This is very confusing. But native English speakers just automatically know this rule. Keep going and don't give up learning English! I only can understand and pronounce a small number of Korean words and phrases. Korean is very difficult for me to learn. I am so proud that I can sing along to some BTS songs like "Mic Drop" (흙숟가락) after listening to it over and over again. I like the last phrase in the song : 꽤, 꽤 폼 나지, 포, 포, 폼 나지. The double consonant "PP" feels interesting on the lips.

been watching your videos from time to time for a while cause i think your voice is really soothing and it’s really endearing seeing your progress learning english!! if i may tho, it seems like you’re mixing up « you know what i mean » with « you know what i’m saying » cause you’re mixing both by saying « you know what i’m say-means », just thought i’d let you know! both phrases mean the same thing so it’s easily understandable keep up the good work!
