How do you get the resin to mix? It clumps up on me.
@honeybeezen7 ай бұрын
You have to keep on stirring, constantly. It does take effort and time to mix together.

How do you like having the ezyloader rear mounted?
@honeybeezen Жыл бұрын
It is a perfect setup for us, as we have existing yards that require backing in. With a 16 foot reach it can load both the deck and a trailer should we need to haul one. With the loader mounted behind the cab the carrying capacity would be limited.

Any comments on the suitability of the Honda wb20xt for pumping and mixing (circulating) sugar syrup? I'm looking to combine this with a 1000L tote, but am worried the thick syrup will be hard on the pump. Wasn't sure if a trash pump would be more suitable.
@honeybeezen2 жыл бұрын
I've used this to make up syrup, but it has a 2" line that was taken down to 1.5", making it slower. Most of the beekeepers I know who make up their syrup use a full 2" line, and many of them do indeed use a trash pump. The operative consideration, for many of them, is cost, and therefore the engine make. Honda is not the cheapest alternative. Hope this helps!

Ezy-Loader Where is it sold and how many dollars
@honeybeezen3 жыл бұрын
It is made in Australia. Ezy-Loader has distributors in North America and Australia; go to their website. Not sure on the price anymore but somewhere around $25,000-30,000 for the largest version. They make smaller ones too.

@@elliottthiessen1143 Yes, Chris Bartel took over the dealership for North America from Herb Isaac Sales (where we bought our loader). While they are not cheap, they are extremely durable, designed well and effective. The price, by the way, is also influenced by exchange rates as these are made in Australia.

Hi Jeff, new subscriber here, just found your channel. I have that same pump currently being used to just pump water only. I’ve been wondering for some time would it be able to handle pumping syrup too. Have you done any modifications to the impeller or had any issue with the syrup being too thick for it? Keep up the good work, looking forward to more videos.. Dan
