I'm going to be feeding the ATEM digital audio (as a mix). Could I simply run it into one of the HDMI ports and select that source's audio as the only audio? I only need 3 of the 4 HDMI inputs for video. I feel that would be better than running the mix into the Mic input. I'll be running RJ45, so I'll need an adapter. Thanks!

late to the party here, but thx for all this training, much appreciated. Question: how can i use a still in a pic to pic? It seems it won't allow me to do this. I suppose the only way is to put a camera on the still and work that way? Also, it is not possible yet to change a scene and revert back to the enlarged pic in pic? Hope they addressed this in new software.

I know, I have contacted YT support, and it was/is an absolute nightmare, as you say, all you get is basic auto generated responses, my problem was completely different to yours, but I got the same emails as you are reading there, if you don't suffer from depression, a bout with YT support will certainly bring it on

Why is “Rotation” greyed out underneath the DVE settings? I really need to rotate my Picture in Picture and can’t figure out how to in the ATEM software control! Help anyone?? 🙏

Great tutorial, and thanks for your help. As a new user, if I had known how confusing this was, I would have saved my money and just stuck to editing videos. I have found this to be the worst and most confusing software ever. Just my opinion.

hello, can you tell us whether these audio inputs 1 and 2 are stereo or mono? 1 left channel, 2 right channel, or they are mono, 1 and 2 bouth mono channels left and right together ?

Thanks for the set-up video. I unplugged the RJ45 Ethernet Port Cable and discovered this as a fix to the ATEM and MacBook talking to each other. also. My RJ45 Female Jack was NOT indicating yellow / yellow blinking so I reset by Un-Plugging & Re-Plugging In. Not sure if these lights will ever blink green.

11:55 - The rears of the Mini & Mini Pro do NOT look exactly the same. The Pro replaces "WEBCAM OUT" WITH "USB OUT." You're confusing novice users with incorrect statements. And you omitted the third function of the "WEBCAM OUT" - allows a computer to use the switcher & mixer interfaces.

Great video. Thank you!! I do have one suggestion. I'm using the Chroma key to do lower thirds and would like to know how you might go from that to the DVE to do picture in picture. The use case is that I have lower thirds then want to throw a graphic up but want to keep the camera on the person speaking as the smaller picture in picture WHILE the graphic is streaming.

I want to stream games from my ipad pro via my MacBook and someone told me about this product. I literally don't know anything about streaming and that's my first time seeing atem mini pro in action. It seems so good. Some other guys are streaming with elgato hd capture card but I think I should go for the atem mini pro. What should I do? Also I will need a type c hub in order to connect everything together. My headset is wired and I want to hear the sound of the game from it. Should I buy a hub that also has a jack port? Or I can plug it straight to the console?

The weak link is not having to be able to plug you camera cables through the back.

Hi, how did you adjust your lighting so everything matches if you have different cams? does the software do that for you on the fly?

instead of a thumbnail, you can also use a second laptop as a source and cut to that source (displaying the slide.) This way you can work on the fly instead of needing the graphic in advance.
