So far the primary one I struggle with is warping on the horizontally, vertically/diagonally not a problem...I have trolled so many people with the counter/reflect, such as Ridley/Bayonetta/Capt Falcon with their charged punches, killing them at 50%

On the combo you do on Ridley at 0:20, is there a trick to getting the dash attack to true combo? I'm doing the instant dash attack, and falling the fair. Do you buffer the fair?

I did a short hop and delayed the Fair input a bit, then fast fall instant dash attack. In my experience, doing instant SH Fair makes the window for connecting the dash attack really tight. Hope this helps.

Most of them are. Palutena has a massive hit stun in all of her hits. Even if you try to avoid she'll still hit you.

@@Yokai_Yuri What about DI? I know some of these are true combos, although a lot of them seem like could be avoided with DI.

@@GuardianAngelEatos Even with DI, Palutena generally recovers fast enough to respond. The only combos in here that I could see being avoided are stuff like DThrow > Nair or Nair > Uair (maybe). But generally speaking, if Palutena lands a Nair at low percents she should at the very least follow up with like 2 or 3 more.

@@kmpyj1 Yeah down throw to Nair can be avoided with DI. It happens to me against good players. Really? So the combos that lead into explosive flame or use explosive flame to combo into up air can't be avoided? I'm guessing that they are specific to these characters.

@@GuardianAngelEatos If you land Fair or Bair at mid percents they combo into explosive flame regardless of DI or character. Works on everyone. Explosive flame has a lot of stun and sends the opponent at a vertical angle. If your close enough, you can easily combo with any of Palu's aerials just about (though it is percent dependent).

I know this supposed to be how Palutena looks AMAZING in this game (I say high tier) but Kirby looks a lot faster in the air than he's ever been. And he looks a bit more mobile too!

I sure hope so. Looking on the Smash Bros wikia, she's been buffed a lot. A lot of her moves are more powerful and seems to have less lag to them. But we can't be certain until the game releases.

Honestly it feels more or less the same as it did in Smash 4. Follow ups will probably still be DI dependent. Only difference is if they air dodge it leaves them open.

Too soon to say, but maybe she's at least mid tier now. She feels faster overall which is a good thing, but we're gonna have to see how she is more at high level.

2:05 That beautiful counter on Falcons FSmash was great. I can't count that number of times I've done that to players trying to hit me from the ledge with FSmash.

I don't like your Up smash too much inpot lag and don't protect you in your back. FSmash for the win. Still I like playing her even if you am not a big fan of fency air character... I just wish her ground attaque where better I love the windbox of her reflect and FSmash but sadlly it not that impressive and in general will never be usefull at any time onless the enemie recover just that the worse place posible. (really I think the Reflect should have alot more wind box than it has.) Oh yah Also her Up warp and Block could use some buff too nothing too much but Warp kinda a weaker version of Zelda Up special... And Black is kinda a bad version of almost all other block in the game having like 0 knock back even at hard% (I am alwas a better Zoner/Heavy hiter not a bit fan of air game because I kinda just faill 80% of the time to my death whene I try to do some air atk)

Tahnks my guy. Palutena is a character that ive been wanting to seriously main along side with my lucario and marth. (old mains were cloud and roy but i got a new ds and i couldnt transfer data) Anyways thank you; so much i didnt even know about her that really helped my game with her

In your first combo, I have a hard time properly cancelling j.236B into j.b. And every time I do succeed in inputting, it's too late. How do I time that part of the combo properly before my hitstun expires?

Update: I think I figured it out. I have to do a dashing jump, right? These combos are a lot harder than you make them out to be.

Thanks! Sorry I took long on the reply. I was going to say the goal is to get j.236B as close to the ground as possible. Then afterwards, like you said, a dashing high jump. Glad you like the video!

Not really no. I just like to switch it up every now and then. Preferably if I had to pick one, I like her English voice better, especially in Uprising.
