Mantis isn’t a dry fire trainer. It is a trainer. You can do live and dry with it so keep that in mind for setup. I’m guessing yours doesn’t do holster analysis. The x10 does that. I’ve got the. X10 and X3 (me and my GF). It is the $h1t!

Can vinegar be used for getting rid of the calcium and similar stuff to clean out and I don't think it can filter chlorine in the water and similar stuff 🤔

Yeah, white vinegar will take care of calcium deposits.

A normal water bottle thread on both sides would be much more convenient for cleaning and filling up other containers with water, and if the have to need a luer lock syringe for back flush, they could put a adapter in the package for that.

Keep the AR stuff. If you have tacpack you are going to keep getting more and more and at some point you will just want to make one. Mine is pretty badass.

Does the filter expire? Not that I'm aware of. I know Sawyer has a recommend amount of gallons that the filter can do over it's lifetime.

Does this keep the mosquitoes and flies from landing on your face and gear or will they still be able to land and bite?

I've had good luck using both products and had no ticks. Mosquitoes will start to get me as I sweat, and the bug stuff wears off. I just need to reapply and I'm good. Biting Flys are 50/50. I've had the best luck with them after a fresh application of bug lotion.

I'm a standard box guy, it kinda sucked that we only got a few things and there where two plus items. I half expected a bonus standard item because it felt like a very tiny box. I might cancel my subscription if the next box is lacking. I usually only get the standard box because it's just stuff I don't have yet but will use, I usually get all of the big things I need myself whether it's bug out, Edc,or rifle build .

I was surprised the plus box had 2 plus items. Probably needed that to get the value. I think the flashlight should have been in the standard box and the Gerber would have been the only plus item.

Great review! I was cautious for how light my standard TacPack was as I got the GunButter, Kershaw knife and Timbercreek barricade stop. for $ 59.95.... OK I guess...should have done the plus to get that Gerber multi tool,,

I wonder how many people (KZfaqrs not included) keep Tacpack subscription for 6 months to a years or more. I have looked at videos from previous boxes over the past year and I see that it’s a lot of junk and repeats. For example I have gotten 2 boxes from Tacpack. So far I have 3 knives and a hatchet from them. So how many more knives will they be sending me? Those 3 knives are flip knives so maybe they will send me 3 more knives of a different kind 👎🏼. I’m not really a knife kind of guy. I already have 4 pairs of electronic hearing protection, glasses and gloves. If Tacpack sends me these things I will be pissed because I know they have sent these things out already in the recent past. I need another cleaning mat like I need another hole in my head. The Gerber that came in this box is my 4th multi-tool. The only things gun related in this box are the gun oil and the barrier stop. So if you are a gun guy like me, this month’s box is nothing but junk.

@xxfire07 If I had to guess, I would say that the majority of people are buying the boxes occasionally or only subscribe for a few months at a time. Based on that, I'm assuming tacpack is gambling that they can have repeated items every couple of months, and most people would fall outside of that window.

Got my July box today. The barrier stop that came with mine didn't have screws. It has the nuts for on the inside of a rail, but no screws. Useless without screws. Maybe my last box.
