One of the things that made Quan Chi my favorite MK character since MK9 was the color of his magic, the special effects of his magic in cutscenes and in gameplay attacks, oscillating from a light green to a more emerald tone, in MK9 we had Ermac, Johnny Cage, Nightwolf, Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn with green powers, but the emerald green tone of Quan Chi's magic was always more beautiful to me

I agree that on first viewing the woman surviving seemed like a cop out, but something I noticed when going back, if you look on her neck when the camera zooms in on her in the bed, you can see some weird black ooz going up her neck, like she's been infected with something, so there may be a reason that we'll find out in the squeal that she survived that's a little darker than it seemed on the surface. Go check it out.

Dude ur right I did a second viewing after posting this video I fell down the ribbit hole and found a theory that the goo on her neck can be a cause of the nuclear fallout during Godzilla atomic Breathe, so the fallout might be apart of Godzilla which is why she looks not so cut up or bruised(from a accident she had) because the goo could give her a slight regen ability like Godzilla(Also appreciate the comment you goat)

It's incredible to imagine the brutality of the second Fatality being caused by a simple magic sphere that Quan Chi throws at the opponent, and now I see that in the first Fatality the glasses also have a green tint, probably to match the color of Quan Chi's magic
