Every star like our star enters a red giant stage. Our star is going to last another 150 million years before we gotta get the fuck out of here. Acfually we wont even be here anymore. Long extinct

If we can survive long enough on Earth, the future of our species will probably take us to Titan, when we will be more advanced, maybe through a symbiotic relation with a bacteria, an algae...

No matter your argument, without the lessons learned conquering Mars colonization and attempt at Titan is impossible.
@benjaminsisko45198 күн бұрын
Colonizing Mars is going to be Challenging and Dangerous enough. Colonizing Titan is simply Not Possible with our current Technology. It would take Starship 6 - 7 years to get there for a 12 - 14 Year round trip. The astronauts would not survive The Journey cooped up in a tin can with no Gravity and soaking up Solar & Cosmic Radiation. Colonizing Mars first will be a stepping stone to to the Outer Solar System which will be many Decades down the road when we have more advanced Ships and Technology.

NOPE. Titan has not only very low temperature (-290 degrees Fahrenheit or -179 degrees Celsius), but also is subject to intense electromagnetic radiation from e.g. Jupiter. Compared to that, Mars can be relatively warm 20s°C during day, but also you don't get wrecked by radiation. Also, temp and radiation on Mars can be stabilized with terraforming, where you can't do that at all on Titan.
@trappist-1e13511 күн бұрын
Titan is too far away
@jnx480310 күн бұрын
That's the least of the problems. Even if you get to Titan, you will be subject to constant -170*C or worse temp, and intense electromagnetic radiation which literally sterilizes life.
@linz829111 күн бұрын
Because your Martian neighbors don't wanna too many earthlings as new citizens to launches Martian terraforming process, so you have to consider Titan to build some new settlements.🤣

We would burn more oil, coal and wood, increasing CO2. We would release methane -a potent greenhouse gas. We would spread charcoal dust on advancing glaciers so less solar radiation would be reflected off the white snow and back into space.. Failing that we would send satellites into orbit to reflect more solar radiation toward the earth.

This is fantastic. I wish I could see an actual, real, living dinosaur. Like, go back in time in some sort of bubble so I can't touch anything and nothing can touch me, and see all the creatures and how they truly looked, see all the stuff that we don't know about because it didn't fossilize... man..
