Is it me or does this guy have a funny riding position. Looks like he's on his tippy toes. My foot is always ove the brake.. Maybe camera angle.

The akraprovic never sits that low on a sport bike unless it’s a R7 or 08-15 Honda Cbr1000RR lol or either lower displacement bikes etc

OMG, thank you months of a sticky "Del" key. I finally snapped and decided to fix it, Google was point to things like just pry it up, you might break the tabs. Then I found your video. Yes one can break the tabs, be careful, don't force it. Thank you again!

Great bikes. I own a 2002 1150RT with 130k km's on it. Still looks and performs great, just keep them maintained and they will last a life time. Mine just had a big service and a new clutch. Should be good to go again for many km's and years of riding pleasure.

Hi @Moto ciklista, Excellent shifting technique! Could you maybe write a little summary on how do you perform especially the speed shifting in the interstate section of the video? I also have a 2004 R1150RT and tried out many different things but could not even come close to you. Is there any secret maybe? I tried preloading the shift rod before shifting and then pulling the clutch but for me it is just simply not working. Thank you for your help!

Hello, thank you very much but it is not perfect on this motorcycle. The transmissions on BMW motorcycles are very clunky because of the driveshaft and other assemblies. If you think about how a quickshifter works, it unloads the engine momentarily for the next gear to "slide in" while the engine is unloaded. I use the same principle. It takes practice, just slightly release the throttle so the engine gets unloaded and at the same time quickly use the clutch. Use the gearshift and release the clutch, at the same time applying same level of throttle. It is complex to explain in text.

Thank you my friend! My "d"-key seemed to have something (like a crumb?) stuck underneath it, so i had to press it really hard to make it register the letter d. *Just lifting the top of the key*, with a really small (flat) screwdriver and then blowing (yes, with my mouth) actually removed whatever was hindering the key to register. So *thank you* a bunch Moto! 🙏

omg thank you! My keys would not lift very much and as this is a lended company laptop I was super worried about pushing too hard. But blowing in just the little space did help me as well! That was unexpected and fortunate. Yay!

It's a common thing. I make it do that noise till it moves quietly, then start it. Just what I do.
