Okay Cassy, on days that I want to clarify my hair, do I still do a hot oil treatment before applying the clarifying shampoo? Won’t the clarifying shampoo strip off the oils to defeat the purpose of the oil treatment?

This was a recipe for struggle and I knew it was going down for sure once you said 20 weeks post 😅 I’ve found that I cannot comb over castor oil if I use it on the length of my hair. It’s too thick and there is ZERO slip no matter the condition prior to. But I swear by it like you do and you’ll recover from this one in no time! Thx for sharing with us!

🌟 Leaving my hair out to look all "Cutesy & Demure"😉 was a major reason I struggled with retaining length in the past. 😩 I learned the hard way on my hair care journey that the environment can be brutal on our strands. 🌬️ Did you know that exposure can strip your hair of moisture faster than you think? Dry, brittle hair is a recipe for breakage, and that's something no one wants. 💡 Hair Tip: Minimize styles that constantly expose your hair to the elements, no matter your hair type! And when you do wear those styles, make it a habit to replenish moisture ASAP to keep your hair hydrated and healthy.

I'm 10months post relaxer due to life & illness but i plan to relax within 2 weeks. So far not much shedding but i can't wait to see once it's pressed out i maintain my ends monthly to avoid big cuts. The key for me was steaming prior to detangling & washing with leave in & hot oil also keeping the New growth stretched with Shea butter or heavy cream keeps it jucy. I think your hair recovers well, hair is a journey

AOUCH CASSY THAT'S A BIG BALL OF HAIR. 😮 I know your hair thinning will get thicker soon with your great hair care routine. I hate making mistakes that result in hair breakage. Breakage happens so quickly while it could take an eternity to repair the damages. As always, you are DOPE for sharing your experience and journey with us .💖
@CassysHairCare
@CassysHairCare 6 күн бұрын
I know right! 😒 But hey this hair journey includes those bad days as well. The lesson is that once you realize the mistake, you avoid it. The problem starts when the mistake gets ignored causing further damage. And yes you are right with that breakage happens fast, but repairing takes time and patience. You are welcome!🤗Thanks for your watching! 💕🙏🏾.

Despite all your efforts, I know how tough it can be when your hair isn’t cooperating. You’ve done an amazing job caring for it, and even though things aren’t perfect right now, don’t lose hope. If you decide to cut your hair, think of it as a fresh start-sometimes that’s just what we need to grow even stronger. Stay positive; you’ve got this! 💖

I experienced the same issue. I didn't cut my hair short - I did cut the thinning ends. I then started what I call my Chebe hair journey. I put my hair in twists back to back. I use chebe, oil and leave in conditioner when twisting my hair. It has become thicker and fuller and longer. I also make hair butter using shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter and many oils including my favourites - batana oil, emu oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil etc.

I'm sorry to hear about your hair issues! 😥 Hair loss can be due to various reasons, including health-related factors, stress, vitamin or nutrient deficiencies, or the way we care for our hair and the products we use. It's important to look at all these aspects and check in with your doctor and get the input of a trusted hair professional. In the meantime, try incorporating this black castor oil routine KI showed in this video and hot oil treatments into your regimen, minimize manipulating your hair too much, and make sure to take your vitamins. Just remember a healthy hair care journey requires lots of patients. And if anyone else here have some more tips for hair loss. Please leave them below to help each other out 🥰💖.

In this video, I did an oil treatment and used Olaplex as a bond rebuilder for strength (which is the same benefits as a protein treatment). It is not necessary to do both on every wash day.
