Yes but only if they're signed by microsoft and are x86_64. To dump games or mount saves you actually use the Dotnet dinary for pc on your xbox to run the scripts that prepare the dump, or mount gaves. also according to the xbox scene discord, Java and powershell 7 may work.

Visual c++ exes will run only if signed by Microsoft. No gui programs will work, only text console programs, for e.x the minecraft server runs but it doesnt work correctly so you cant connect.

I have plex and emby in my series s and series x. Didn't feel like installing them to this one s before taking it offline. There were only 4-5 days to grab everything on firmware 4478.

Follow the instructions in the 1fichier download, read both .md files. You will have to use the run.exe from the 1fichier download, replace the one in your exploit foldet with that. Then follow the resign instructions.

Youll need the dotnet binary for x86_64 on a usb drive, put it all in the folder on the root of the usb namrd "dotnet". Also maybe join the xbox scene discord

Not possible to sideload games. Only apps with this exploit. Would be cool to backup my own games and play them though, or play delisted demos

Download it from the 1fichier link in the description. It was put together by tux user, whos a part of the xbox one research team. In there read the .txt file for resigning appxs.

Ok actually the readme files are .md files (markdown). If nobody was going to make a tutorial then i could but KsamJ also knows how to do this, and he's going to make a tutorial soon.

Basically but you can also dump games with the vermintide 2 exploit after running the gs exploit. This is pretty difficult though and I haven't successfully pulled it off yet, mainly because it can corrupt the game you're dumping, corrupt vermintide 2, or you need to expand the partition on the hdd to make the game that you're dumping fit (due to how the dumping exploit relies on swapping the vermintide 2 disk image with the game you're dumping).

Dev mode is a little overrated because we can play emulators on PC. The Xbox 360 online store is being shutdown so one day the same will happen to the Xbox one meaning no dev mode and no apps. When Xbox one and series x is considered retro, it would be good to have emulators for these systems in the future. We only have emulators for dev mode because previous consoles have been exploited.

To my limited understanding, with xbox one the os the game runs in is packaged per game. If the game uses era os, then yes you can dump it. If the game uses the gdk, then you can mount it but not dump it.

Not yet but theoretically yes. If you watch my latest video I've got dolphin repacked and installed. But microsoft blocks emulators running at the firmware level. The Xbox one research team knows what registry values to disable to allow emulators but AFAIK there's not easy to use script to do this yet. Hopefully sometime soon. Also this only works on Xbox one currently so it'd probably be slow. Series consoles can't run sideloaded UWPs for some unknown reason.

Best chances for running backups is to stay on this exploitable firmware with gamescript. If you dont have gamescript then you can update. Carot c4k3 wants the next exploit to be available to xboxes that have been in storage for a long time, so out of date. Then they want to exploit the system with built in apps. This is just speculation, who knoes what'll happen.

I can try to help. You will have to setup the collateral damage exploit on a compatible xbox (firmwares 4478, 4908, 4909) with game script installed. discord.com/channels/770816616937160745/770828189663625216/1262776257460965487 then follow the instructions from this zip archive from discord. use the run.exe from this archive with the collateral damage exploit, this will enable InternalDevUnlock, AppModelUnlock, AllowDevelopmentWithoutDevLicense capabilties in systemos. then follow the attached guide for repacking uwp apps. to get makeappx you will need the windows 11 sdk on your pc. for this use the visual studio installer, and install the components to build c# and uwp apps for windows, and also select the windows 11 sdk. good luck and please drop by the xbox scene discord for more support with this, I'm only a user of the exploit just like you.

On your ps2 are you playing the iso with OPL or are you running it on a burnt disc?

I installed to internal HDD using HDL batch installer. Using OPL v1.2.0-Beta-2087-be25d8

So it isn't just me. When GH2DX was first released, I got it to run no problem in OPL, but now it gets a black screen when I load a song in Free Play or Practice. Oddly enough, it works just fine in PCSX2 on my laptop. I think something broke during the following updates
