Nice! Seriously can’t believe that stuck the landing haha. Was this a RunCam? I think mine has been shaking the battery loose. It tends to cut out on hard landings or with aggressive deployment charges.

5" rocket made from Composite Warehouse parts. 48" tube, Head End Dual deploy nose cone. I cut and beveled the beveled the fins. Has 75mm hole, my go to bird for sport flying.

The first O8000 flight (demo) was at LDRS 24, 2005, in Alberta - 7" aluminum airframe., 110lb GTOW, 44,006'. M = 2.8 at burnout, ripped the paint off the front 1/3 of the nose cone.

Motors are right in the title, three Aerotech K2050 super thunders. Hight I would estimate between 7-12000 feet, around 3km. The rocket is a 5in fiberglass kit modified as a cluster.

Justin. I know this has been a couple years ago. but your opinion on the flight. I know the Moonburner cores tend to cone due to off angle thrust and offset weight to the rocket. but how about the launch rail whip movement? think it had more in it? Ive got an M685 I will be flying June this year here in Northern Colorado. Minimum diameter 3 inch sims to about 33K. Take care!
