I just made a batch and am cooking them on the stove like you did in another video. I live alone so the small portion is great for me. I've made biscuits for almost 54 years, turned out good and kids and husband lived them. Now it's a new season of like for me , so this is a great recipe. Thank you

Thank you! I've been looking for a recipe like this one. I have a 1lb Zo machine and will try to make adjustments for the smaller size. Hope it works, it will be a lot faster than the artisan bread recipe that takes many hours to rise.

I learned to bake on stove top of a wood stove yrs ago at afriend's. Power went out in our town in ice storm. We hunkered down with friends that had alternative heating. Family's wanted bisquits n gravy . They all said I couldn't do it. But I used 2 lrg iron skillets on wood stove and made an oven. Best bisquits both familys ever ate .

Great video! Do you need the baking powder when using the self raising flour?
@KenClick22 сағат бұрын
Yes, it works better with it.

Ok great. I did make it and it was really good! For one or two people it’s perfect! And really so much easier than doing the whole oven thing. Thanks!!

I do sandwiches like this but I use my waffle maker, lol for me the waffle maker seems to bind the tots into a more solid "bread like" surface... But then again I make omelets on my waffle maker too, which is my favorite fast breakfast hack. Love your content Ken!!

What a great and inexpensive alternative to gluten free bread. Hey, how about making a tater tot pizza? Maybe a cast iron skillet with the next smaller size skillet preheated in the oven then used to press the taters down before the toppings? Then, load it up and pop it in the oven. Something along these lines? Gluten free anything is so so painfully expensive. Thx!

Nice! I had no idea tater tots would fuse together like that. These look delicious. And novel. I wonder if you can work a fried egg into one of those sammies? No panini press here... And it looks like you need to cook things from both sides... I might have to Google more uses for a panini press.
