Oh wow, the feels. I spent SO MUCH TIME on that game. It was such a banger. I got sooooo hyped when I saw there were 2 CDs inside the box. My child brain almost exploded at the idea of a gamecube game so big that it needed a second CD. And it didn't disappoint. ToS, zelda wind waker, fire emblem path of radiance, pokemon colosseum/xd, super smash... The gamecube had so many bangers it was actually insane.

i played this as a teen, it's always so good to see people enjoying these classics. sh2 is really a storytelling masterpiece and a class act in creating claustrophobic-feeling horror. if you can get your hands on a version of SH2 that has the sub-scenario Born From A Wish, i strongly recommend it. might be a bit unpopular or underrated (idk how the community feels about it honestly) but it fleshes out maria's character and adds to the general silent hill lore and i think it's fantastic

What’s the game title

Love these 1 death vids but i challenge you to a new one. You get a bucket and some sauces, tinned food. Each death over 1hr gaming = adding a ingriedient to the bucket. At the end you pour bucket over your head. No shower caps goggles etc allowed good luck

I know this was half a year ago, but every couple of years by tales of the abyss phase comes back swinging… that game always has a huge grip on me, even when I’m not like this but it’s always fun to see content like this! Your tier list is perfect, I agree with every point and I wish I saw more people who loves this game as much. I need them to desperately release some kind of remake and have it more accessible because I need more people to discover it again asap! I’m also extremely jealous of your tokunaga plush, if you don’t mind me asking if you see this, where did you get it? Was it eBay or something?

Yeah, the darkness was kind of a asspull, even back then. Everything in the game builds up to Kuja, his motives, his motivations, the devastation he causes and when you defeat him the game just goes "lol, there is an even eviler evil being evil all over the place, go kill it!"

It's so odd to see someone rely so heavy on Steiner's weird-ass techniques when what he truly shines at is just stomping face :D

It's such a weird contrast how straight forward the Series starts, considering how batshit insane the story gets later.

I think this game is going to be great. Better than the original? Nah, no way, they would have had to bring the original members of team silent back to accomplish that. I think it’ll be good though.

My expectations about this game is low honestly but i I'm glad Akira yamaoka return to do a new version of his songs he always was a huge part of silent hill experience with the spooky atmosphere he created around the games even in western silent hills those games were not that good at least to me but I enjoyed either way because Akira's soundtrack.till nowadays i still listen to.

This just popped up on my feed, and this is a great video :). Don’t know if you remember me from JTV, (you trained me and they always put “hair” on my PA show list). Past couple of years I’ve gotten into the SH series as well. SH2 was my first true horror game that I ever played and it shook me to my core lol. Konami does worry me with their handling of the series, but my main hope is that they nail the atmosphere. Music and sound design is what I’m hoping they nail. Fingers crossed 😅

This is the biggest problem... This is not SilentHill This is Resident Evil James is not normal human here anymore He is Leon with full combat Skill Ofcurse enemies dont react to attacks... I think the best part of this trailer is in development part because we dont want this kind of SILENTHILL

It's all a little touchy to me. I dont really know if Bloober is the best choice, but who knows who's doing what. Im glad Akira Yamaoka is returning for this. But overall, I think combat is going to be the least thing I care about, because it was never really great in any SH game. I will judge them when it comes to sound design and how they mess with the player. I think orighnal SH 2 did some truly groundbreaking stuff. I dont want a remake if it's not trying to match the quality. We shall see!

I’ve been a part of the fandom since day one. I still own my SH1 copy from the ps1 days. Became a prominent member of the old SHforums, I still am. Worked closely with some of the developers on two SH games. Silent Hill has never been a survival horror series, so making SH2 look like a survivor horror game like RE is a bad choice. Even worse choice to make the game look too “clean” while the original was grimy and had a film grain filter on it. This remake was finished development almost a year ago so the game shouldn’t have looked like it was still old dev footage in this trailer. As much as I wasn’t personally a fan of the Shadow of the Colossus Remake, Bluepoint Games was respectful enough to not change any of the gameplay when they remade it. However, BlooperTeam has never made a good game and felt they needed to uproot all the aspects that made the original game so influential in the genre. I spent the past few years being talked over and down to by the new fans as they called me a fake fan, dismiss my thoughts on things and claim I’ve never played them. That I “probably only watched a video essay on the games” I can say with confidence that not a single long time fan I spoke to wanted a remake. We wanted new games. (All of Which have been disappointing so far) The Newer fans, that came in from other games like Dead by Daylight, have gaslit the community into thinking fans wanted a remake because the old games are bad and outdated. I wish I was joking.
