Until they come up with their own recipe for Olive Oil bread, i found a Keto version. I added some lemon zest and juice and made it into muffins. They are delicious! My husband loved them too.

Have been thinking about this lately as when ive lost weight in the past i found after 1 or 2 months id becone "skinny fat". I now know why. Just eating crappy foods but still not enough calories for the day. Im comvinced i lost a lot of muscle too as i wasnt strength training either at the time. I think the main thing is what you break your fast with. Make sure it got the protein in it and it's a nutritious whole food meal.

I'm an advocate for minimally processed/whole foods! If the oats are gluten free, non gmo, organic and tested for glyphosate residue , I think they are a good option! 💙 Dr Mindy's Team

I feement my kombucha into vinegar. I dont buy commercial junk! And kombucha does contain sacharomyces boulardii and much more. Fermentation potentiates the properties of the herbs used.

Thank you Dr. Mindy. I found your book during my cancer journey. My PCP discovered a lymph tumor in my neck a year ago. After a long session of tests, biopsies, and chemotherapy I decided I was done feeling terrible every day. I found your book, began a 72 hour fast, daily fasting of 17 hours and a keto type diet most days ( needed an ice cream bar and chocolates now and then). Results metastatic tumors are shrinking. Blood CEA, CA-15, and CA 27.29 have dropped drastically. Thank you so much for your life saving dietary work.

I eat yogurt with Stevia…not any other sugar substitute with chia seeds and natural peanut butter stirred in and blueberries. Is this ok when breaking a fast? Is stevia ok?

Hi , luv your content ! Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and research. Question why is the coffee made in the aluminum pod bad ?I understood the paper filter removes good things , plastic and paper add bad things . In Puerto Rico my grandma poured the coffee thru a cloth.

Hi there, re-read your post, "aluminum pod". It's the heavy metals that leach out from the aluminum. Grab a pen and notebook and start learning about "heavy metal" toxicity and what it does to the body. You can do the 30 Day Reset as outlined in Dr Mindy's book, Fast like a Girl, using the 'New Moon' as your Day 1 (use search engine to find the day of new moon) or you can do a weekly variation like the 5-1-1 or the 4-2-1 Protocol. The 5-1-1 is 5 Days of various fasting lengths, 1 Day of 24 hours fasting and 1 Day of NO fasting. In the 4-2-1 it is 4 Days of various fasting lengths, 2 Days of long fasts and 1 Day of 24 hour fasting.
