How long should I wait before I shampoo my hair I was just locked June the 10th
@ladymax68Күн бұрын
You should wash your hair weekly right after you start your loc. Water locs it faster. Shampoo as often as you did before locs, weekly or biweekly.

@fatimamanneh9432Күн бұрын
I leave my hair in my bonnet until I put on my shirt I always pick up the ends to moisturize with leave in & shea butter I shampoo my locs every week (all of my hair)I don’t do styles I have my locs for 5 1/2 years with no breakage everything Pauline is saying has to be taken seriously to keep locs healthy

Absolutely beautiful this is how I started my own braidlocs and I never had to baby my ends. I’ve never experienced bunching, and after 3 years they’re still open and curly, no issues. Thanks for all of your guidance. ❤

Have you seen the stuff that's going on with Melissa? Blake's in Tunisia, about knotted locks thing. Tunisia is stealing this lady's work. OMG.

How would u maintain it if it was 2 strand twist do u think I 4pt rotation would be fine
@EnToiBeauty2 күн бұрын
@@nicolebates492 I would do a 4 point rotation until it locked to reduce slippage and then switched to maybe 3 point rotation

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this information. I have been searching high and low on YT and you summarized everything in one video!! I plan on installing my own medium-sized microlocs due to my low hair density. I do have a question though.. I know you advised 2 strand twist (which is the method I am going to use), I was wondering if I could start off with braids at the root and then the 2 strands? I ask because I am not sure if my hair will be able to hold the the twist without a braid as the base. However if starting with the braid will damage the integrity of the loc later on as it matures then I will definitely not go that route. Please help😫
@EnToiBeauty3 күн бұрын
@empress2024 yes, you can start the two strand twist with a braid. You can braid about an inch and then twist the rest.
