You are going to enjoy the milk. I'm slowly getting set up to start selling raw milk. I have sold a few gallons already to a family member and a friend. But there are several things I need to do before I start advertising raw milk for sale.

Working on getting an old separator that I got from my neighbor up and running. Once I get it going. I will use some cream and make some butter. I have sold a couple gallons of milk already. Not quite ready to sell milk full time yet. But won't be long.

I've been milking by hand. Found an old milker on eBay. Should be here Tuesday. May have to make a few repairs first. Going to be selling milk all the time before I know it.

Fresh milk is the best.

$2.72 to $5.00, $2.72@walmart, $5.00 at the local small town grocery store. Some people don't mind paying for raw milk. I wouldn't pay $10 myself. Some people really like the raw milk and are willing to pay.

Well the milk at the grocery store is stripped of the good stuff, and altered with chemicals. You are charging for your time, and AI, that is expensive. What about the cost of jars? Some people don't return those. I think $10 a gallon is reasonable. Hell they charge $8 a gallon for goats milk down here🤷

@@LeesArkansasBound I did charge a jar deposit to cover the cost of the jars. They will exchange them every time they buy milk. That way it's no cost to me if they quit purchasing milk and don't return the jars for their deposit back.
