What does it matter sione Ioane ?? My grandfather's name is Sione born and raised in Samoa My father's name Tupou alot of Tongans are also named Tupou we r 1 no matter what names All islanders need to appreciate each other STOP BRINGING THE WHITE HATE INTO OUR CULTURES WE R TO BE MORE WISER AND FULL OF KINDNESS HUMBLENESS WITH INTEGRITY AND HONOR WAKE UP AND ENDURE ALL WE NEED TO BIND TOGETHER AS 1 AND LEAVE RACISM OUT OF OUR ISLANDS AND CULTURE IT DOES NOT BELONG HERE WE NEED TO BE BETTER AND GREATER THAN THOSE WHOM DONT WANT US TO BE OUTSIDE OUR CULTURES AND HOMES WITH LOVE ACCEPTANCE AND MUCH ENDURANCE CLOSE TO OUR CULTURES AS WELL AS TO THOSE WHOM ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO ACCEPT RESPECT AND LEARN OUR CULTURES WELCOME THEM WITH OPEN ARMS AND HEARTS ❤❤💪💪😎😎

A'e sole, 'Sione' is an alternative version of the biblical name 'John' in the Samoan language. I know of toeaina from my ekalesia called Sione & also Sione's\Ioane's during my time at Avele kolisi. Although Sione is the Tongan transliteration of John - it is also used in Tokelau, Niue, & Tuvalu as alternate uses for 'John'.

The samoan translation for John is ioane, the togan translation is sione, which many other island nations use as well, some swapping the s for t, it's a valid question he's playing a Samoa therfore his name should have been ioane, not sione.
