Their drummer remains one of the most consistent, no frills, straight forward, bad ass motherfuckers i have had the pleasure of watching play live. He makes me want to practice. This band makes me want to practice my craft. Practice your craft!

I have a really deep connection to this song. In 2011, on April 27th, I was only 13 years old. Lived in Lawrence county Alabama at the time. The hackleburg/Phil Campbell EF5 hit our family home and I was home alone. My dad was on the phone with me when it happened and thought I had died when the phone got disconnected. Came out alive with not even a scratch on me. It had completely flattened our 2 story home and the only debris left on the foundation was what was covering me. Couldn't even feel the rain after it passed while staring at the forest next to our house through what used to be our living room, waiting for help to arrive. About 6 months before this, my dad was driving me home from an Alabama Game and played me this song. And I loved it. Insane coincidence to say the least.

One of America's greatest rock bands, but with three guitarists, you'd think that at least one of them could play decent lead. Nope.

I saw them on the Dirt Underneath Tour in Milwaukee and walked out, they were so bad. Brad Neff keeps things together here as well as (I assume) Gary on keys.

Watching this back to back with the ACL show from '08 is pretty jarring. Why has Cooley's guitar playing fallen off so badly? The old songs are still great, but age and wear have clearly taken a toll here. No disrespect to Jay, but a more dynamic third guitarist (a la Isbell or Neff) would help a lot on the older material.
