Спасибо огромное за Ваши мастер классы!!! Какую пряжу используете для вязания пледов?
@RosinaCrochets5 күн бұрын
I generally use DK (#3 weight) yarn, but you can use any yarn you like for mosaic, providing your colours have a good contrast, and you use a hook size appropriate for the yarn x

When doing the border, how many stitches should you have on the long side and the shorter side?

You need 1 stitch for each row on the long sides, and for each st on the short sides x

@RosinaCrochets15 күн бұрын
You shouldn't need a PayPal account to purchase from Ravelry - there should be an option to checkout as a guest / pay by card ... but if you are still having difficulties, the pattern is now also available from Etsy xx www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1234276422/floras-fauna

Your reverse side looks less flappy, or maybe it’s just an illusion. I’m wondering if you pick up few back stitches on the long runs of F stitches, and if so, how do you do this please? Thank you

Hi i now bougth the pattern ,i want to make. The yellow cat in a blanket but how do i repeat the pattern ? You do not start the same Way like other mosaic patterns Where i start with one sc , i have tryed but it do not work, what am i doing wrong?
@RosinaCrochetsАй бұрын
Hi, If you want to repeat the mug rug chart for a blanket-width, you will need to start with a multiple of 17 + 4 sts (for example 17 x 10 = 170 + 4 = 174 sts). Then for each row you start with 2 standard scs under both loops, then work sts 3 to 19 from the chart as many times as you want (10 times in my example above), then end with 2 standard scs. If you would rather just have 1 sc at each edge you can start with a multiple of 17 + 2 and just skip 1 of the scs at each end of the chart. Hope this makes sense x

For a blanket how many stitch i would have to use? i thought about 7x16- 116+4+1=121 ?
@RosinaCrochetsАй бұрын
It really depends on the yarn weight you choose, the size you want your finished blanket to be, and your personal tension. I always recommend making a small gauge swatch, as that will help you make the necessary calculations x

When I started the Boo blanket I didn’t see anything about how long to leave the yarn ends. I now don’t have enough yarn to maneuver a knot. Any suggestions?
@RosinaCrochets2 ай бұрын
If you started each row with a slip knot on your hook, and fastened off securely at the end, by ch1 and pulling the end through ... and your yarn isn't slippery ... providing your ends are around 1 inch long, you should be OK x
@kayhicks5042 ай бұрын
I’m working your Boo blanket. You reference this video for the border. At Border 1 you say … with a standing sc (US) in FLO…. which is a contradiction? Doesn’t standing mean to go into both top and bottom loops, but FLO is into the front loop only?
@RosinaCrochets2 ай бұрын
No, a standing stitch means that you start with a slip knot on your hook, and then instantly make that stitch, rather than starting with a slip stitch in the row below, then making a chain x

My blanket is slowing starting to slant. How can I fix this?
@RosinaCrochets2 ай бұрын
a slight slant is normal with overlay mosaic crochet, as you are always working on the RS. A gentle tug in the opposite direct after every few rows can help, and if you add the envelope border you should hardly notice it. If your slant is more sever though, you maybe working into the wrong sts - if you think this might be the case, please go to one of my fb groups Rosina Crochets or Mosaic Crochet World, and pop a photo in there, so we can see what it looks like. You should get an answer pretty quickly from admin or one of the experienced members xx

If this is your first time doing mosaic overlay crochet, please do the swatch. This is my first time. I had to do the swatch 3 times to get the suggested gauge. One with a 4mm hook and the next 2 with a 3.75mm. The swatches were coming out way too big but the 3rd time worked! The fabric should be dense almost like a rug. It reminds me of filet crochet where you have to get the stitches right or the motifs will come out stretched or wonky. I had to tighten up my foundation chains and row 1. You may not have this issue, but better to do the swatch to see :)
