Try using a Cintiq. drawing an ipad is so slippery. if you put paperlike on it the tip of your apple pencil gets damage.

It all depends on what you want to use it for. If you are a student, or work in an office I would say definitely get a MacBook. However if you want an I Pad for just watching movies, shopping, internet searches, Social Media, checking e-mail … then an I-Pad Air is more portable & scrolling/typing on screen with your finger is a nice feature & works well in these types of situations …. and you don’t necessarily need a Magic Keyboard (can use the online keyboard), and you don’t need a pencil (unless your going to use it), so if this is the case, a $99 dollar folio cover would be the only accessory you should need. The IPad Pro is a powerful machine with the new M4 chip & the OLED display, but for most people they will never use half the features, and the pro is more expensive than the IPad Air.

I have to agree. The software made for it for pro creators is mostly rubbished. Photoshop for iPad is laughable for pro users. Partly way adobe doesn’t beef it up is that its main customer base now is everyday causes; users who aren’t buying 1500 iPad m2 or M4 now< so the heavy lifting software is years away just do to needing to be compatible for many users. I enjoy the iPad for causes;l lap web browsing and social media. I found the pencil to be okay but a Wacom tablet is far better for creative tasks with way more control and precision. In addition to desktop class software being full featured vs the iPad versions.

@@ghost-user559 Thank you! Yep, I know of Affinity photo but working in the professional photography field we use Photoshop, it's just standard. Although Affinity is great it's just not used.

I don't like that the Stems are lightly glued together. I've had 2 pairs that 1 of the Stems have came apart but when taped back up, they still work fine but, I was blown away when I got the Earfun Air Pro 3's! Nothing has Nothing on those earbuds & they cost $55.

In summary (for college students) the ipad is useless unless u hand write all ur notes and adores the portability of it otherwise the MacBook is far more superior to the ipad.

The iPad lineup for sure is a mess. I'm no stranger to tech and when I'm getting frustrated trying to decide on which iPad is right for me and I have to figure out which screens are laminated, which pencils work for what iPad, what ports come with which iPad how much memory is available for each one I can only imagine how it feels for someone who just wants a tablet. It needs to be way less confusing. I'm not sure how they got into this mess but someone was drunk when they green-lit all of these options.

I had an iPad - ended up selling it. couldn't justify keeping it while I had a Mac. Also the iPad is cool but always had no battery when I needed it the most so I always just resorted to my Mac in the end
