Can too little preload (2 inch) cause a brand new rear shocks to bottom out and blow the seal withim 10 miles on a easy trail with normal dips and peaks. My rear ground clearance is 13.5, the front is 14 1/4. I dont want to increase ground clearance, that's plenty. FYI, high lift front A arms and rear radius, 30 inch tires. Or is it more likely the shocks are over extending due to heavier tires than OEM? Hope this makes sense.

I would love to have the chance to race a SXS! I designed and built cages for Ivan (Ironman) Stewart Motorsports in San Diego. I have spent the past 20 years driving dirt roads in Utah. I have done Cottonwood Creek Road UT. in 25 minutes driving a Mercury Sable! Give me a Can Am, I'll crush records!
