Is the African American Officer in this reunion a Mr. BO Wells? If so, I found a picture of him from 1966 in a book called Mig Killers of Yankee Station. ❤😂

I had the pleasure of working air traffic control as a marshall controller on the Mighty Midway. These squadrons are by far the top of their craft!

I served in VF-161,road the Midway from under the golden gate bridge in 1973 to Japan for 2 years Yokosuka....I was also in the evacuation of Saigon...Both as a brownshirt...Plane captain and adj in the squadron level maintenance...brings back memories...now Midway's a museum...I wonder how many men served on her from the very beginning to decommissioning....

I was in VF-161 from 1981 to 1983 and saw many faces I remember, VF-161 is still my favorite command during my 26 year Navy career. I was so proud to be a Charger/Rock River I started out as AOAR Kline and ended up AOCS Loved all of the Aviators they were so good to us Maintenance and Ordnance sailors. God bless all of you!
