Yep, I caught that. Of course it's possible to take chunks from here, there and everywhere and piece them together to show something in a certain light or for comedic purposes, but say there are a hundred examples of demonstrating specific behaviour, context becomes irrelevant. As is the case with the countless number of times rats are fed human junk food whilst stating that sugar etc. is bad for them. The same goes for begging and emotional manipulation of supporters. It all adds up to illustrate an individual who chooses to play the feeble victim and be carried through life rather than engage with it, developing the necessary degree of self-respect and personal responsibility adults are typically obliged to in order to survive.

Yep, this is very much the bargain basement sideshow where performers pay for their spot at a lesser venue with a view to gaining exposure. Ironically, if she did a streamed gig from her own bedroom, the attendance would be far higher, without any of the expenses. Maybe there's still some kudos in earning the right to say you secured a spot at the Fringe, even if it's the freebie spin-off edition.

And anyway, that after lunch slump has nothing to do with mental health limitations, she's simply eating too many junk carbs in one meal and experiencing blood sugar swings. She says elsewhere she's eating one massive meal a day to control her bulimia. Sounds like a great plan! By 'bulimia' she probably means she's often overcome by greed and has no self-control. @@dreamkatcha okay let's say for argument sake the afternoon nap is a must. She can still work night shifts? If she really wanted to work there are no excuses. We have all done crap jobs to get by, so this whole mentality of having a fundraiser or people donating to her just seems alien to me. I know single mums that will do a few shifts in a pub to help top up their money just to give their kids a good life. I don't understand why Sarah/Louis doesn't try that? (She cannot use anxiety as an excuse as she can perform In front of people so pub work she be easy)

A double-dip fundraiser at that. With Fringe already paid for, the next round must be to cover the cost of holiday gifts and postcards for the rats. Re: working hours, assuming the critical nap was a medical condition symptom, she could switch to the Spanish siesta scenario, extending the day by inserting downtime in the middle whilst working the same total number of hours.

@@dreamkatcha that is very true, a lot of bosses(in an office environment)are quite flexible with their hours so long as the work is done. But by saying about the afternoon siesta I am guessing this will stop from doing say factory work, shelf stacking that sort of thing as the hours are pretty much set.

Yes, office work hours are far more flexible in my experience. Give and take goes a long way with bosses. What's weird about the Spanish approach is that it also applies to office workers where they operate in an air-conditioned environment. I believe it would have started with e.g. fruit pickers working in the baking afternoon sun.

I'd forgotten that Magpie company still exists. Isn't this the one aimed at people who are too lazy to sell on eBay, but can just about cope with chucking a pile of stuff in a postage-paid box for someone else to sort out? The catch being that owner of said tat receives peanuts in return. I remember when there was a trend to set up local high-street versions of this model. I doubt many of those are still running. The one up the road from me lasted a few months.

Yep, I think once you've achieved all you can without cheating, you may as well take some shortcuts rather than never play the game again, failing to see what comes next. It takes a real pro to get anywhere with Sleepwalker. Great concept, but too frustrating and difficult to be much fun when played without cheating. Definitely wouldn't criticise anyone for evening up the odds.

That was the core era for me too. I'm up to 1986 now watching the re-runs and have yet to catch up to the point I discovered Brookie as a kid. Plenty of characters had been and gone by then, long before the shopping parade and garage existed. They were actually filmed at a different location; the entryway went nowhere.

No health professional will diagnose a person if its not within their remit so shes talking absolute bollocks and a health professional can lose their job if they do and to go out on a limb and say its this with a bit of that is bullshit they wouldn't do that. Then all her social workers keep leaving and ignoring her which is a lie because a social worker will not just ignore a person when they're assigned to them because they have a duty of care to the person after that person is assigned to them. No doubt they are doing everything they can in their power and when they have fulfilled that role they are signing her off. All the Social workers can do is advise and get you help after filling in the paper work and this is what they are doing if their filling her paper work out to get her seen by the relevant specialists. Also they will fill in paper work but she still has to follow it up and i bet this is where the issue is.. shes not doing her part. Then she whines about john having a show and large fan base. Yes because he's worked at it and put his life into it something Octy seems jealous of. The whining about how she has to get there by herself just proves what people have been saying, shes wants all the reward but none of the hard work. When shes talking about this she sounds like a child about to burst into a strop over not getting something shes been told she cant have. She says shes doesn't like labels yet keeps labelling herself...

My mental health nurse filled out my form for autism so it is nonsense about only social workers can do the forms. Also, I had an autism advocate at one point and she was really helpful. Also Octys therapist is right, how can she sit in front of a camera when she has anxiety? 🤔. I guess money is an amazing cure for anxiety.

It does come across as a case of 'dog ate my homework' so just take my word for it. Unbelievable that stage performance is elevated to a supreme level of anxiety triggering and then dismissed as a source of anxiety as though that's an irrelevant factor in not getting back into it.

I think current anxiety reports fluctuate depending on what she stands to gain. That's why responding to DMs is particularly scary. No personal benefit given that donations are a public declaration of sainthood rather than something arranged in private. Yes, the DWP will want to see some kind of official diagnosis of a debilitating condition. That's a pretty solid reason to get a label in black and white. I'm not sure if she ever claimed government support. Was there a post-work/pre-rat crossover period?
