What up homeboy. I've got an 85 white forerunner with a tan soft topper always on my rig I've hit those spots as well. I actually unflipped the Jeep in that Idyllwild mud hole spot with the culvert I was camping at the first yellow post. Hope to see you out there.

@@Adventure_Rig 2 months ago I was camping there. Folks were struggling to get up and down I watched the guy go up heard a struggle and then big plume of smoke. I had to pull 4 people up out of there Jeep and he wenched himself quickly back onto his tires. You can bypass that spot and in to the first yellow post campground and get around that spot. 200 feet up the trail.

Hey, brotha - your 1KZ is non-intercooled, correct? Have you added one? I have a 95 series with the top mount intercooler; I've replaced the cylinder head and turbo. New water pump, therm, timing belt, etc as is the usual preventative stuff. Do you do any additional supporting mods to assist in cooling? I am getting ready to finally start using mine in offroad applications and I'm a bit nervous about keeping temps down -- but don't know if temps are even a worry when doing offroading. Thanks for any advice you have!
