The botanical gardens is a great day long trip. You can combine it with the Biodome and the Planetarium. The scale is much smaller than what I have seen in other cities but it is still worth the trip.

Wonderful video! Exactly what I was looking for, we are taking this trip in July. Can you give an idea of how much time it took to get through baggage claim at FCO and down to the train station? I am thinking of buying our train tickets in advance and am trying to figure out a timeline. We would be taking the train from the airport into Rome and then the train from the central Rome station into Naples. Did it also take a lot of time to switch train once getting to the city center and getting the next train to Naples? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @nelle0408! We actually have a guide for visiting the Amalfi Coast on our website. It has a step by step itinerary that can help you plan your perfect trip. andrewandkait.store/shop/p/italy-guide-amalfi-coast-capri-rome

I’m sorry to correct you but there’s no “ocean view”! There’s no ocean. It’s called water front, or river view.
@AndrewandKaitАй бұрын
I can’t imagine feeling the need to correct a visitor on something so small, that I also didn’t say. I mention “ocean vibes” and say it’s “not an ocean side beach.” We don’t claim to be a pro at a destination during a 24 hour visit or say everything flawlessly - we just enjoy sharing our in the moment experiences.

This is epic! Thank you for sharing your experience. Is there a reason why you didn't recommend a train and driver option from Salerno? Or would Naples be a better option for taxis? Any apps that you recommend for taxi bookings? Thanks!

Can you only order food on your phone? Id like to order at a counter at least.

You order in person! You can order room service to the room and make dining reservations on the app, but all the ordering is in person

You mentioned an Almafi coast guide, where can we find that? I'm planning a trip to Positano in July and am so afraid of the crowds!! We went 20 years ago and it was magical! We hired a drive to get there, harder to find a driver home

Imagine going all the way to Milan.......just to have coffee in a Starbucks!! lol .....when there are a gazillion better places in this chic city to have coffee at. The mind boggles. And Americans wonder why others think they're incredibly inward looking and 'unworldly'.
