I have been fishing a variation of this pattern for over 20yrs. I use it as a dropper behind a Stimulator. It is my "go to" nymph as a dropper and it has worked very well on streams from Arizona to Wyoming.

Just for extra weight.. depending on the water you’re fishing you might want to get down a little more

Killer pattern. It’s legit. I use it here on the Flathead. I swing it behind a elk hair. It works for me. Be sure to load it up with some gunk.

I've been tying for 55+ yrs. and I have cancer .I was diagnose last year .I don't know if it is because of the fly tying materials I've used over the years. But, when it's now on almost every product we see these days "CAUSES CANCER" .YOU BE THE JUDGE.

Such a cool version of a great pattern. I would love to see how some of your flies look in water, even a fishtank type thing. Keep it up mate!

Great video man, thanks! It's way more useful and interesting when videos like this explain not only what materials to use, but WHY material X is preferable to material Y, etc. 👍
