Hi, I love your videos. I just found you today and I’ve watched a few. I am planning a trip to glacier national park next year. How difficult is it to find parking at places that you want to hike?
@Jeff_Hyer
@Jeff_Hyer 3 күн бұрын
Hi Jenna, thank you for watching my videos on GNP, I'm glad you've found them helpful. To answer your question, parking can be quite limited in the park, especially in popular areas like Avalanche Lake Campground/Trailhead, Many Glacier, and Logan Pass. Parking in Apgar is the safest bet, and then taking the shuttle from there to your chosen hike is a very convenient option. Otherwise there's usually ample parking available in the early morning and evening times. With that said, people are always coming and going, freeing up spots all throughout the day and if you're lucky you can snatch the spots when they leave.

Certainly! Here's the first and last paragraph of the information: --- Yes, Yellowstone National Park has made many of its popular sites and facilities accessible for visitors who use wheelchairs or have other mobility challenges. Many of the geothermal sites are specially built boardwalks and ramps to allow easy access to the sites :)

I usually use Bnesim. They have many promotions, and the internet connection doesn't drop. It's also cheaper in terms of price.

Sir I'm 280lbs and out of shape and doing the same ride to Logans Pass. I know the E-Bikes help a lot but do you think it's a big enough help for heavy out of shape guys like me? I get winded very easy but can push through if its not too much. Do you think I can make it with an E-Bike based on how I described myself? Also, how many wats were your E-Bike? Whats the ideal watts for that ride to Logans Pass?

Thanks for the great video! Been binging yellowstone/ grand teton/ glacier national park videos for an upcoming vacation. This is the best Yellowstone one I have found. Love the inclusion of the obvious things to see like Old Faithful but also including things like the Yellowstone Hot Springs and Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center that ive yet to see elsewhere. Ever done Grand Teton/Yellowstone/ Glacier National Park in one trip? Would love to see a video like that!

Very helpful advice. Aside from the tour guide tip, I’ll definitely use the tip box. It’s interesting because while the workers expect the tip, not all people who come for a safari are loaded with money and just doing the Safari has taken a lot of saving so it can put the traveller in an uneasy situation.

Thanks for this information! I'm still a confused on one point. I have my first three nights at Apgar Village and my last four nights at Swiftcurrent. I think I understand that a lodging reservation at Swiftcurrent means that I don't need a parking permit to drive the GTTR. But does my reservation at Apgar Village give me access to GNP? I was hoping to hike Avlanche Lake, Hidden Lake Overlook, and Trail of the Cedars while I'm on the east side. Do I need a parking permit to do this?
