Whoa, GREAT discussion. Lori, never met directly but was in similar MPLS circles including in/out the Bailey’s Mirror Image and more. Bill always talked so highly of you, it’s clear why. Also loving your move. Great memories of driving down both sides en route to Chicago and wondering what it would be like to live/work outside the city. Later headed Far East like your dearly departed friend. May have met him here… 💗

Crazy that this interview has so few views and that your channel has so few subscribers! Really enjoy any interview with Ms. Donelly. She's a pretty fantastic person all around. Love Throwing Muses and Belly. Glad she and the gang from Belly still do some touring, so wish I could have made the show last October in Newport!!! Unfortunately we were out of town, moving one of our kids back east from Portland OR. Anyway... Great interview!

This was a great interview with Loren. Fan from back in early days...high school in Lansing. East Lansing & Michigan had a wonderful music scene back then 60s, 70s.

Gears and plugs first gig at the first masque brendon tols us mexicans we couldnt play so Eddy Snoid from LA Shakers and myself knocked him out and put him in the alley and locked the door . Later he got in but we were playing and he loved it . Your welcome East LA . Another fact is i wanted to make a homeless man i met outside hong kong cafe on his way to jail we drank and smoked . Then he went to jail a week later he jimmy showed . Got him high and got him in free took him home hot him a job at top taco . I got john and exene ive to here him sing . She had to go into rehab for a year so she gave him the x band to back him up the find other people to replace them when i get out . The rest is history . I named him top jimmy by giveing him an arm band that said top jimmy. He didn't like taco jimmy lol . I picked all the member . They didnt even know it . Dig and steve Berlin didnt like me but . I got them their job . Divas lol punk wasnt my first rodeo . I played with Zappa in 66, i was only a 13 year old drummer . Hendrix opened for us and i smoked my first joint Too🥴. I never told my music history . Thats cheeting i figure . Wanted to stand on my own . Not some cling on wantabe hack. I wasnt a zappa fan anyway . I worked with pink floyd beefheart Devo. I kept that secret too. I told Ace Farren Ford only . He told diva don boles and then he wanted to be my buddy all of a sudden. Some peoples kids. I toy with the Divas ar knock them out if they need it like david lee roth for beating up girls . I went to jail for knocking out david two of his body guards and a couple of cops them more copes came lol . I had to buy new unaforms for the cops . They were ripped up perty bad lol $82 dollars per uniform.

The Meetings and Souls were the late Carmen Dimarca's band. I personally don't like the insinuation that everybody loved Adam and that seeing the band live is what lost the record deal. That band was very dynamic on stage. And Carmen was so genuinely kind and funny that he saved that band from being called snobby and cooler than the room.

I want to know what happens at the end of she video recording of safari by the breeders did she mean to make tha5 squeak sound? Was it even the guitar that made all those funky sounds at the very end of the song?
