Thank you so much! I'm so glad my video helped you! Don't forget there is a difference between UV Resin and two part resin (A+B). Which I'm sure you know, but just incase I'd thought I would mention it 😅 Have a wonderful day. If you have any questions let me know I will answer them to the best of my ability 😁

Can this be used without a uv light? Can I just use the resin for carbon fiber material? How long does it take to dry
@HelloSparkles3 ай бұрын
Hi there! So this particular resin can not be used without a uv light. You would need a 1:1 ratio resin for what I think you're looking to do. Nicpro AB 1:1 ratio would work nicely and usually cures within 24 to 48 hours Nicpro AB resin: amzn.to/3TEoVKq Be careful this isn't for a deep pour. Nothing thicker than 3-4 inches thick and you would want to do it in layers for anything thicker than that. If you're just topping or coating something thin layers are still a good place to start. And as always, safty first. Mask up and glove up rein is a chemical 🙂

says it can be done with sunlight also but I never used this brand, so I don't know. But if it can I believe it would have to be a good strong sun. Has anyone tried it this way?

I'm getting back into crafting after my crafting business failed in 2021. I make costume/cosplay/LARP stuff so uh ... yeah with the pandemic happening I couldn't continue. Really took the wind out of my sails! :( Watching your video really helped give me some confidence and encouragement to get back to trying new things, get creative again. I really just wanted to express my appreciation for your channel. Thanks for sharing your cool creations with us! <3 Also big thanks for taking safety seriously. I recently worked with a new epoxy I hadn't tried before and the instructions did NOT say anything about masks or gloves. I happened to stumble across the recommendation in the "Mistakes to avoid making" section on the manufacturer's website ... which I didn't buy it from. (bought it from a distributor) Imagine randomly finding "It is necessary to wear respiratory protection and nitrile gloves as this product emits toxic fumes that can cause allergic reactions, and disrupt endocrine functions over time." If I hadn't screwed up the first time I used the product and gone looking for what I did wrong, I never would have found the warning! I actually appreciate resins that have a bit of a smell because it lets me know if my mask is on right. Just because you can't smell it, doesn't mean it's safe! ;) I'm definitely going to pick up some of this stuff and get crafting. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you're getting back into your crafting, too. I'm a huge advocate for safety when using resin I too didn't find out until I had already been using resin that I should be wearing a masking. I'm glad you didn't have any reactions from the resin, though. I would have been LIVID, too! There are so many resin users that will argue that it's perfectly safe🙄. Anyway, I won't be getting into that lol but I'm glad you found my channel, and I hope to posting again soon. I've just been going through some stuff and hope to play KZfaq catch up soon😅 I hope you have a wonderful day!💖

I'm sure in the instructions craft resin is to be measured by volume and not by weight. But feel free to prove me wrong.

Hi, I corrected my self In a pin comment. Feel free to read that next time. This is an old video and came out before they changed their instructions. At the time of purchase, the Amazon site stated using a scale. I would not have purchased it otherwise. I have since corrected myself in the comments, the description of this video and even released a video correcting myself. There is also a date on these videos of how old they are. This is from 2020 or 2021. Thanks for watching.

This is such a great idea! It's a nice alternative to the 'traditional' way of displaying dolls by putting them on doll stands, and those resin drips look amazing <3 will absolutely keep this in mind when re-arranging my shelves

UPDATE: This video has been getting more and more views, and I wanted to say that in this original video, when I did this review, the Amazon website stated to measure by weight. DO NOT DO THIS I explained and corrected myself in this more recent video here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m6l1fsigsK7XZX0.htmlsi=yL0R-aJjjpxrExuI
