4:14 Okuyama finished with over 14 seconds left at age 41, becoming the first 40+ to finish any stage with 10+ seconds left on the clock!

Apparently there was a 45-year-old who pushed the button with 14 seconds left in the 1st of 38 competitions...

@@MoonNight_blossom yeah but that didn't count because he was disqualified on the Fish Bone Kai for skipping the final pedestal, and of course it was Toshihiro Takeda, and had he not been disqualified, he would've became the first person to beat stage one 20 times (he retired after Sasuke 38 due to his heart hurting after heart surgery if he does high intense training/exercise).

@@MoonNight_blossom Actually Okuyama is the second 40+ to finish any stage with 10+ seconds left, there was a guy in Sasuke 1 that wore #88 that finished with like 15 seconds left on the clock, and that was after he wasted 5 seconds at the start line unaware that the time started, so he would've finished with like 20 seconds left on the clock had he went as soon as the final beer went off, and he was 44 at the time. Unfortunately in the next competition, his run was all cut, I think he wore #85, and he timed out on the final obstacle on stage one, which is shocking since the limit was reduced by 10 seconds, and he finished with 15 seconds left in Sasuke 1 with the same obstacles. I'm going to guess he got unlucky on the Spinning Log and was unable to run across it like he did in Sasuke 1, costing him valuable time, perhaps needed 2 attempts at the Hill Climb, and likely timed out near the top of the final obstacle (I think G4 calls it the Mountain Climb, but I think in Sasuke 1 it's called the Subduction Zone).

@@MoonNight_blossom oh yeah, I read your comment thinking you meant Toshihiro Takeda in Sasuke 38, because the guy you mentioned "in the 1st of 38 competitions", was 44, not 45.
