Looks a good production but I had to laugh at the artillery. The cannons had recoil mechanisms and the shots were explosive!!

красиво поставлено. но вот только разрывных. зажигательных. снарядов тогда еще не было. каменные и только. только стали применять железные. а вот летучие гусары это фантастика...

@@ratatataget They didn’t loose battle in open field for centuries. Trained since childhood. Hussars attacked in right time while Janissaries were on siege of Vienna or am I mistaken? 😁 Have to straighten some facts.

Very poor scene. The quality of FX is very bad. In addition, little in the way of historical truth. Hussars had lances of 5 - 6 meters in length. Officers rode behind the charging men, not in front. Hussar wings were thin, but lances had long pennants. And the charge looked different. The horsemen rode in loose formation and only broke formation 50 meters before the enemy front. The formation at the moment of impact was so tight that you could throw your handkerchief and it wouldn't fall to the ground. This required long training and proper training of the horses.

a charge of hussars never looked like that. and the facts about the battle were actually much different. King Sobieski asked for 200 hussars to charge Turks to check them out and those rode to check them who chose to ride themselfes. after that charge the King ordered entire hussars army to make charges. but charges never looked like that. it was pretty complicated thats whys o effective. they charged in 2 lines when close to enemy they formed 1 tight line riding foot to foot with comrades next to you. there was no room for enemy to slip in between the knights thats why it required bravery to do those charges and thats why it was extremely effective. It has never looked so chaotic as shown here. and btw hussars used wings only on special occasions, never in battle since they were knights that could and did fight on feet if it was necessary and wings would just be uncomfortable to fight with them on your back.

The polish warriors came to the aid of the Austrians in their hour of desperate need and saved them from the Turks. They came just when Vienna was about to fall. If they came a bit later, Vienna would have fallen to the Turks.

The funniest thing in this movie is the dialogues... For example, when he told the priest that there is only one correct light for a Muslim residing in a Christian country 🤣🤣🤣 Perhaps he forgot that Muslims are the ones who worship one God, while he worships 3 persons.

In the fact who really save europe is The betrayal of the Agha who was charged with blowing up the bridge through which European supplies would pass during their passage, but he did not do so because he had hatred for Minister Mustafa and did not want him to conquer Vienna, but he did not realize that with this betrayal he destroyed the hopes of an entire nation and changed the entire course of history.

Everyone talks about the bravery of the Poles. Yes, I don't deny this. They fought bravely and won the battle. But I don’t see anything brave in the fact that several hundred people simultaneously shot at one person with flag

Poland is a truly underappreciated, yet proud country. Very true to their faith up until this day of immigrant crisis, they hold up their christian faiths and are a bastion of christianity and westerner values. Didnt really attack many other countries, came to the resscue for christianity for so many times and did it all in the name of the Lord. Amen my christian brothers ❤

Beware .. history is the past... Don't interpret history for petty ego across religious and nationalist lines.. its a trend happening now adays. It'll lead only to the rise of ultra nationalism and fundamentalism, thus repeating the mistakes of past..
