Depending on the colorant, sometimes the vibrancy can develop more over time. My sister lets her frosting/icings set to bloom the color more. I bet it wasn't noticeable when they frosted the cake, and then it turned more blue until they were ready to cut it. I'm also not a baker, so I could also be 100% wrong 😂 (but i have seen the blooming in person)

I think I would probably SAY "my cousin" or "his cousin" personally, but if a married couple said "our cousin" I would assume it was one person's cousin by blood and the other by marriage.

I've been cake decorating for 18 years. How does that even happen?? I've accidentally iced colored cakes white, when on auto pilot. But I've never taken the time to mix a color for an order that doesn't even have a color on it. Like, what??

I just went on a cruise with my husbands parents and we’d often tell other people “oh we’re with our parents.” Then realized that made it sound like we were siblings. 🤦🏻‍♀️

On our wedding day, seemingly everything went right. Everything went as planned, took a little long on taking the photos and getting everyone to the after party venue was a bit of a hassle but other than that everything went according to plan... then we got our wedding photos. Beautiful poses, beautiful colors....pretty much all blurry 🙃
