What are you watching? There is no headshot. He's unconscious from a whiplash. The tackle is legal, the tackle is on the chest but the head comes forward hitting the shoulder. Go through it slowly it's the head that comes forward. Not a bad hit just looks bad and a super star got hurt

Rothfield wants the game to die. I'd be pissed if I paid to go see a game that was over after 7 minutes. I don't watch it anymore.

A week off with a bye following 8 straight losses results into a 9th. Entire club is lazy, trainers and players. All they want to do is buy Penrith players and sit back so they take them to the finals. Not how it works Benji 👍🏼😊

Yet benji will just piss off on holiday overseas. Bye weeks are about extra preparation especially when youre second last on the ladder. The guy acts like coaches dont get sacked left right and centre. I hope they keep losing so hes shown the door sooner

Tiger thru and thru here. I feel for Kyle. He's had a difficult run in his career and that was one hell of a try. The game is so strange these days. That kind of effort should be rewarded. He should be proud.

Probably agree to have a replacement player for a miss timed tackle where the bunker can review and see whether an 18th player can be allowed to enter after 10-20 minutes although it shouldn’t be allowed for intentional infringement like coat hangers or punching

They should hire Jason the scaredy-cat coach. He would be a good coach to teach them how to be scared of every NRL team.

I think there is more going on here than first seems apparent. These one sided game results seem to have become more prevalent since the introduction of the “six again” started. While the six again can apples to both sides, it seems to go to far when it happens at a critical point ina game. I don’t bother watching those blow out score games as I don’t watch golden point games. Golden point is only fair when there is only one way to score a point like hockey. I think. some of the sanctions that have been determined for offences need revisiting and fairer means of applying them brought about.League has done far better than union in it management of a professional game but people will only be retained as an audience if they are watching something that is seen to be fair

That is a send off any day. There is nothing tough about it. Direct contact to head and not using the hands ..shoulder tackle and at that speed is extremely dangerous. As far as I know he could be in a coma . And the guy on the panel say protect the brand. Give me a fckn break. OMG

If you only get 10 mins in the sin bin for taking out the head of an attacking superstar then Brisbane should have used that same tactic in last year's grand final by taking out Cleary in the 1st 8 mins , loose a player in the bin for 10 mins, then see if Penrith would have been good enough to win without Cleary. It's about protecting players from shortened careers and long term injuries. We either provide protection for them or we don't , doesn't matter if it's a club game, grand final or State of Origin. Very unfortunate situation but needs to be a send off everytime to send a message that it won't be tolerated.

Union is having the same problem. Red cards and send-offs killing the game. In this instance it looked to me the Queensland player slipped and the high shot was neither reckless or intentional

What a load of rubbish. We know what we signed up for when we play rugby. You see it now turning into the acting Soccer players do when they cop a touch, you’d think their leg was broken, then up they get. If it was intentional and reckless, fair. But the dude slipped and was an accident. Sin bin at origin level. Before you know it you won’t be able to touch a bloke. Getting ridiculous.

When Braith suggested the idea of a replacement player after 20mins, Buz said what we all know to be true, that coaches would manipulate this rule to heavily target key players knowing If they over stepped the boundaries, they would still keep a full side. For Braith to scoff that off as silly is just insulting his audience. Your a good man Braith for defending your State, but don't make a dick of yourself.

7/7 completions to start the 1st half, Tigers looked dominant...........then the errors began, and they didn't stop. Just poor resilience and ability to stay in the grind
@pittchaser4 сағат бұрын
Braith is right, you're never going to stop a knock out. Walsh slips and goes low a lot, gets knocked out a lot, same as Teddy. Protect yourself as well.

As soon as Olam made the first knock on that was us dusted. I dunno why wests keep buying players which successful clubs have decided are past their used by date. No offence intended to older players, we all get older, but paying marque $ for old players is not a good plan. API is an exception, and yes there are always exceptions.

As a player, Benji was brilliant and literally changed the game. If he's not careful, rightly or wrongly, this will impact his legacy.
