I see your point but one can argue that tank nor Shakur Stevenson have fought an elite level fighter yet. Especially on the level like Loma. Those are the type of fights that we need to see in the lightweight division and I hope they make that soon.

Canelo adopted things he's learned from other styles which I believe has made him a different kind of Mexican fighter. He was straight forward when he fist started but has learned the art of counter punching not to mention learning how to hit with impact.

Berlanga is clamoring a canelo fight, but let’s be honest, Berlanga would get battered worse than Munguia, Berlanga has a questionable chin.

What up big O. Man o man. Canelo looked like canelo of old. First respect to munguia. He came to fight. Canelo looked fresh. I'm guessing the surgeries he had did him well. He got his cardio from running again. Canelo looked like he had confidence to throw his punches with full power. Canelo performed better than I expected. Hats off to munguia. He had the heart and punching ability, however he didn't have a good game plan and stood in front of canelo too much. He fought too much at mid and close range. He had a decent jab from the outside, but closed the distance too much. He leaned in too much with a squared stance and got caught with the upper cut. Respect to both. I hope you see why I pick munguia to beat and stop David diabetes before the canelo fight. Those shots canelo took from munguia would sleep David.
