Not nearly enough attention given to how the anchor points or ""fittings" are fastened to the L track. Moveable? How easy? Show it. With each fitting type you're touting, please. I'm looking for something as easy as my L-track, but nothing USCC produces does a good job showing how "moveable" the anchor points are.

You want 6 to 12 inches of slack so the ratchet will have more friction to stop the tie down from coming loose

Most useless video of the day. The camera was not directly on the moving parts. He assumes people know his glossary terms. You could create some charts with some arrows because simple is not dumb enough when you are talking to the public and you do not understand your audience. This is extremely not helpful if you’ve had a traumatic brain injury. Speak clearly and enunciate your words and point out each part. Let this be a lesson for other people that create videos. 🤔🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ This was a waste of time.

Nice video. Here's my 2 cents. When I started off roading 40 years ago, all we had were tow chains. We always took up the slack before towing so not to rip off bumpers, etc. I view tow straps as similar, just with a little more give. Both of these methods require the tow vehicle to have the advantage over the vehicle being towed, either by weight or dry/hard surface. If the tow was not successful, usually a tow truck was necessary to make the tow. I see a kinetic recovery strap as a way to use the energy of the strap to allow a similar size vehicle to assist another. I do see potential for damage to one or both vehicles if not done properly. I now have two tow straps as the chains are heavy to carry around, but I am looking at a good kinetic strap to have and use as well.
