I can’t believe people pay this much for bottom feeders. They do taste good, but so unhealthy.

why do most of the buildings in OC look so old? I would swear a lot of these weren't there like 20 years ago either so it's not like they were all built in the 70's. i see a lot of new businesses but for some reason the buildings just look old.
@DanielKestersCoastКүн бұрын
The beach town was founded in 1875 and some of the buildings are over 100 years old.

This happens no matter what you do... It is not because of "global warming" ... I remember one year, a bad storm caused the bay and the ocean to meet on coastal highway .. And there was no shelf afterwards, just a bunch of small dunes instead

A few years back it was really bad, especially at the inlet.

I saw a couple schools of cow nose rays today under the pier in Hampton VA, and we've been seeing and catching some for weeks. 3 weeks ago I hooked one and it took about 20 minutes to catch and release. We don't want to catch them but there are so many around it's easy to accidentally hook them, and they eat bait. What a pain.

I remember the beach shelves from my childhood in the '50s and '60s (before the days of beach replenishment.) Perfectly natural, sometimes you have 'em, sometimes ya don't.

The kids got to be nuts. Thrashers, Candy Kitchen, Trimper's Rides everynight. And traffic. We introduced something called 'the kite.' Mother Nature was sometimes in the air currents

Ima 41, n been vacationing in OCMD for over 15 years. I think, my opinion Ocean City,MD hotels/motels and maybe even restaurants are gonna hurt themselves with the price of everything. I know some people vacation in OCMD yet but, have chose to use air bnb instead of hotels/motels cause the air bnb have better prices n you get a kitchen(stove) to cook meals. I work with a few guys about 10years older then me they say it’s cheaper for them to take there family South(Carolina’s) instead of coming to OCMD. I understand restaurants/hotels/motels gotta make money but, think it’s a fine line… I see it first hand in OCMD. I remember seeing taxis all over OCMD, then they diminished. When I asked the last taxi at OCMD about 3yrs ago he said that Uber n another company ran out the taxis(couldn’t compare to the cheaper rates). Now, I still feel like taxis n ubers etc are still on a decline from what I remember..

You got a budget, plain and simple. Some things you can't exclude (I'll say Thrashers; some will say paying $100 cover fee at a bar). You be smart and remember to be yourself. Run the numbers.
@2001pontiacta6 күн бұрын
@@richardhales92 I used this as my budget n it’s been working. I tell everyone plan on spending 100$ a day. There will be days you don’t spend that n days you’ll spend more so, 100$ a day has been working for me.
