It seems to me this toilet has 2 sections. One section for man, one section for women, wheelchair users, moms. What is the designing logic?

Thank you for this interesting excursion. I love Chihiro’s watercolors. There’s so much love to life in it. It’s so sad that she passed away so young. I wish I could visit the museum when visiting Tokyo one day.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the excursion and that Chihiro's watercolors resonated with you. We hope you'll have the opportunity to visit the museum when you're in Tokyo!

Do you know if the instruction cards you see around the shop are available for print. While in Japan, I purchased some tenegui as omiyage, but I didn't think of it at the time, that it would be fun to use them in different ways. I wanted to be able to share this with some friends. Arigatou

Hi Freedom! We usually interview the directors and curators of museums we visit to learn as much as possible, so that we can share that info with you! We reach out to each museum, shop, etc. that we visit purely because we're interested in what they're doing. Hope that answers your question!

What is the word for the bit that goes into the obi? I've heard 'kazari plate', 'kazari spoon', etc. Is there an official word or search term in Japanese? Even my host mother is unsure.
