No. You are wrong. The Mustang and the Corvette were built for different reasons. The GT is a touring vehicle and not meant to be a nimble sports car. The Corvette was not intended as a touring car and doesn’t pretend to be with its uncomfortable interior.

Ive had many mustangs a few Vettes all fun cars but my red eye hellcat challenger is the most comfortable and by far the fastest car ive ever had E85 injectors a pully and a tune NOTHING comes close to touching this car on the street

As for the Mustang love the look of it but hate the hood if the intake is faux then I think it is shit always hate air intakes on the hood unless they serve a purpose other then looks! You want the clamps to slightly overlap the seam to create a solid joint. Also the guy talking over the main guy correcting him during the install was very annoying

Personally, I really don’t care what a mustang owner has to say or Corvette owner has to say for that matter. People that are hating on the Corvette are the peasants that can’t afford it. It’s that simple. It’s the same people that don’t like the dark horse that is $70,000. Do I have my own opinion absolutely the mustang can’t touch the Corvette and once the zr1 comes out even the GT500 code red is going to have a hard time beating it in a drag race

They are both nice cars. A c8 is more attention getting and a different driving experience a new mustang is muscle car with great power. I like both I own a c8 and its a amazing car and attention it gets is insane. My friend has a gt500 its a very nice car, very fast and sounds nice. You can't go wrong with these cars. Anything American has that heritage of powerful and reliable cars. If you have a family and can only have one car mustang if your single or have a everyday car and can afford the c8 then c8.

I keep seeing pwople say its needs a tune with stoxk set up because it loses torque. Is that accurate, because from the numbers it shouldnt with stock.

This only takes about 20 mins to install with right tools honestly. One of the best air intake manifolds out there imo.

Corvette is Ferrari in the front, Camaro in the back, not my cup of tea. As I'm a die hard Ford fan I love Mustangs. However, the Corvette has a 70 year history as a sports car while the Mustang is a "Pony" car. Ford would have to build a low cost GT40 type car to compete. The size of the market and cost to build a completly new car makes this not likely.

Yes your opinion is just that your opinion does it matter maybe to you but mustangs as far as personal preference are not completely quality built I have owned several the best metal is substandard and cornering is not the best as for gm they have held up better for not rusting as bad and the parts last longer no matter how good or bad you can’t really say ford id better look at the facts and quality vs quantity my love is for Chevy hands down

Price wise at least were inlive are not even close, base corvette goes from 120k to 140k, due to all the markups. The shleby gt500 is the same as far as price due to the markups, markups should be illegal, but they wont't stop until people stop paying for them.

Your comments about the driver's seat seemed disingenuous.. I'm 6'3", 250 and I fit perfectly in my 21 C8 Z51 Convertible. Did you even adjust the seat? There is tons of legroom in the C8, so much so that i have to pull the seat forward.

I thought Corvette were around 100k these days, but I could be wrong. You can get a v8 Mustang for low 40s though, so I don't know that they compare. I have a V8 Mustang and it's plenty fast for me. Could use better steering feel. It's not in the same league as the Corvette.
