Thanks for the vid, Once Sprint 6 gets 5, 000kms on her dial she is a completely different animal. With very much respect to you, nobody is doing anyone any favours by racing a brand new car like that, as interesting as it is to see it happen. These magnificent examples of the best 6 ever created in Oz are easily good for a 12.5sec quarter once properly run in and around 5,000 kms. Incredible cars. Mine is fully different motor now compared with new, different character and loves to rev now. 0-100 in 4.5 secs and 12.6sec quarter easy. Power on guys!

Larger diameter rear tyres are holding these Sprints back... swap out the 265/35/19's for some 275/30/19's and mid 12's without trying!

Thanks for the Vid - fantastic! Couple of questions if you can help please? - how many kms on the Sprint (i.e. how well run-in was she?) . . . what was he racing exactly and what time did that 'ol Falc make? have to say, it was a good time for Sprint but I've seen them run closer to 12.5 after run-in properly. remember, their overboost is temperature dependant.

The Sprint is new or was at the time, hardly driven. I think the old falcon won by 1/10 second. He felt it has a 12.5 in it as he had a lot of broken traction through 1st gear. Maybe a burn out to warm up the tyres a little next time. it was his first time at the track just to see what she would do out of the box.

Neil Kerswell i.also have a xr6 . sprint noticed up until 500-1000km it wasnt blistering..however now its got 5000km its a different car...especially rolling its brutal..Enjoy it

It had just clicked over 2000k's. It has just over 5000 on it now and.......yes, it's a completley different animal already. Can't wait for some cool air this year and I'm pretty sure it''l go low 12. Dynoed 400hp@wheels during summer. I'll warm the tyres up this year.

He thinks it has a 12.5 in it. ultimately not too shabby. Brilliant statement as Ford bows out to make a Family Four Door that goes like this straight off the factory floor. Plus it's not even run in yet. My XR6 Turbo got it's best times from about 10,000 km onwards once it loosened up a bit.

The F6 is stock the SS is his friends and it has a Stage 2 Cam kit

A standard GT averages about 12.9 Sec, His standard GT got 13.00 sec so he was close to what a std vehicle is capable of doing. It was his 1st time

With Limited Slip Diff My XR6 Turbo doesn't get a lot of wheel spin, usually none off the mark, As boost increases I get intermittent wheel spin through 1st and between 1st & 2nd. My mates GT 2011 FPV gets a lot off the mark with so much torque. I usually turn off Traction control.

My XR6 Turbo had a Flash Tune and a Xforce Cat Back 3.5" Exhaust. 12.8 sec is best so far

My mate has a standard Ford GT 2011 Supercharged V8, he bought it standard from FPV. I'm not sure what supercharger they come with standard, you can probably Google it
