as a mint user mint is better than windows one you get the hang of it. For all of you who change from windows to linux and back to windows just keep using linux

One option is to skip the degree and debt completely. I don't have a CS degree. I got an A+ cert and got an entry level desktop support job. I have worked my way up from there, while self learning part time. 7 years later I am a Lead DevOps Engineer at a global 500 earning more the 150k base salary with up to a 32% bonus.

I'll just hop in with everyone else and say my current preferred distro. Right now it is garuda kde. I've tried ubuntu, mint, kali, base arch, and now garuda. My personal recommendations would be Mint or Garuda depending on whether you want rolling release or not.

Hm, 10000 loc isn't that much, I could imagine average person writes that amount during the first full time job in a couple of years. And that is just the time when you only know your primary language well enough, (hopefully) starting to grasp the vastness of software engineering.

The thing about the mind is that it tends to think it can handle multiple things at once. Teach it how to do one thing at a time and you'll master programming. The challenge is that the mind always wanders, so focus, and logic is key.

how to code without learning 1. pick a programming language 2. read the entire documents of specific programming language and what they do then seal them for later 3. now start coding with whatever you memorized, you unmotivated lazy ass like me look, my friend with faulty keyboard issue started doing scratch project without *learning*, and he's actually making progress as for me, I'm just as unmotivated as some of you all I'm only motivated when I see Vergil references

You're braindead if you think I'm going to believe that the choice of software I select to use says anything about me or who I am as a person. This must be the centralization of robots who failed to go outside or touch grass in the last decade.
