Just throwing it out there, does anyone else feel like they have super hearing but just can't make sense of the sounds till after. It's like I have to reread my life event's in order to understand what really happened. It makes me say stupid shuff because I have to anticipate words in order to keep up. I've only ever felt clear once in my life for like 6 hours. Something about the rhythm of the day made it so everything I said was the appropriate response. I didn't even try and start a conversation. But I can hear the wires buzz in the walls when it's quiet or those cheap charger boxes always. Then I can't let it go and I'm stuck empty headed till it stops. Can't wrap my head around one and can get the other out no matter what.

Most of my life, I thought I was dumb. Alright, at least it's really hard to shake the subconscious feeling of that, After having it implied to you all throughout your school years. " You have difficulties. You can't do all these things like others " People laugh at you and notice it, even if they don't say anything. Its a hard mindset to brake out of. thank goodness for voice to text, and text to speach! though it can feel accwerd to use in public or quieter spaces.

Sounds just like weather in Luxembourg, it was raining and hailing like crazy for a few minutes and the next second the temperature drops and it starts snowing really heavily and after 20 minutes it's all sunny outside😅

And after 2 years of impotent attempts and the government fell because of that, Illegals still invading the UK coastline.🧐 Maybe it's time to organise "free navy" and make things happen. 😎

I am a 60 year old English woman and passed a degree in analytical science at 26, but only got my English level 2 in my 50,s. I lost my job and career because I couldn't transfer into an office job from a lab job when I was pregnant because I couldn't read very well. I taught my kids to read, now I have three adult kids with PhD, so I give the finger to those who called me stupid 😅😅😅

This may be like weird. But I don’t think that we’re in essence “more creative” we just see problems differently-especially social ones I think. This is bc we kinda miss the problem and don’t do all the thinking but just cut straight to a logical solution without all the extra thinking or emotions envolved.

I know the route I had to go thru was a scenic route but I do not have dyslexia, some call it a disability I prefer to say a learning challenges. I cannot do the same things as others and fast pace. Like my first job at McDonald’s I was put on French.fries station and I wanted a detail list on how to work I got basically a brief instead and most of them doing my job for me and I actually tried to do it but some said I was too slow, one time I had to start over because one asked for extra crispy fries so I left them for slightly longer and the person doing sandwiches came and threw them away one customer asked for them to be extra crispy so that coworker probably caused me to have redo it. 3 minutes takes awhile but when you get a system going it gets easier I wanted more times on the French fries station since it was fun but I only got to do it twice.

I was diagnosed in 3rd grade. My record for my diagnosis was thru my elementary school and they lost my record resulting in me lossing out on allllll the help i needed. So after 5th grade the extra reading classes stopped. The one on one reading and writing lessons stopped. I didnt read a "chapter" book (a long none pictured book because im a child still and idk the correct word for a long book) until i graduated high school. I read only when i have to and now ive graduate college with two degrees and I still am left feeling extremely unintelligent because i cant sit down and read an article without getting distracted and giving up and then havin a melt down later because I needed to get it done (im in my masters now and doing research). I hate my brain. I hate it. It doesn't help that so many people treat me like im stupid all because i ask them to repeat themselves or because i accidentally spell my d or b backwards. My actual friends in life are the reason I am able to joke about my dyslexia but I feel braindead at times. I was just diagnosed with ASD and diagnosed with ADHD two years ago now, im sure that hasnt helped with my feeling of being an imposter. I feel like im on the verge of getting fired or failed every day despite my professors and bosses telling me I do a good job.

I don't see any plus just minus I don't really see anything to be really happy about having dyslexia so to this Day I'm not sure what are good and positive side of having dyslexia It's still hard to be successful especially when you meet people who don't understand you or don't give you a chance to show them that you be able to achieve something in life.

I didn't know I was dyslexic until I watched a KZfaq video and found out I am exactly like the person she was diagnosed with dyslexia. I was sixty-four years old and realized that I had been dyslexic for all these years. I always claim that I was lazy and not performing well in school, and yet I was a computer programmer for 34 years. Writing a specification to solve a programming problem always took much longer than finding a solution for it.

Thank you for your video. ❤ I am the wife to a dyslexic and mom of 2 dyslexic children. My husband and I searched and searched for help to understand why our bright son struggled so much in school. After years of going from one specialist to another and doing everything they recommended, we finally got him correctly diagnosed. Sadly, getting him the right help was just as difficult, so I became his tutor. Now, I tutor children all over (here in the United States) to help them become better readers but most importantly, I try to rebuild their self-confidence. It is my mission to teach people what dyslexia really is as opposed to what it is NOT. Like you did in your video. I tell my students that dyslexia is a SUPERPOWER. Because I can teach them how to read, write, and spell better, but no one can teach my brain to do what a dyslexic brain can do. Bravo to you.🎉 I will be sending each of them your video.❤

Perhaps Cold Subtropical agriculture could help the alleviate the over-depedency of tourism industry, despite less commodity (as most of plants favors warmer climates) and bit more expensive to do than in tropical climate. It also boost stockpiles of a food amid alike disasters such as Pandemics and Natural disasters (think of Volcano and Earthquakes)

This is so relatable! I found I have dyslexia in high school, and view it as my superpower. I graduated high school with the top English mark in my grade, and now have a Psychology degree. For a course that was in the Psych degree program, that was about the brain, I gave a presentation about Dyslexia. Keep creating! This was fabulous! My favourite fellow dyslexic person is Stephen Spielberg, because I enjoy his storytelling.

I absolutely hated school, i didn't understand why i had to be tortured like that. I did graduate and became self-employed. The best thing i feel helped me in life was Rush Limbaugh, the radio talk show. Guy. Up until then, i never knew someone could speak so well. His thought possess, articulation, the intelligence and humor, showed me so much more than any teacher could. It brought me out of my shell and gave me the confidence to deal with the world. It was so sad when he died. I know he touched others too and made them realize that they can become great too.

Everyone thought i was 'slow', I just learned differently. After high school, I immediately became self-employed in home improvement that I knew nothing about! Built my first house at 24 and paid it un full 3 years later. Looking back, I just thought that was normal. I still think I'm not that smart even though I'm retired at 59, a millionaire, with many rentals.

I am now 50 and found out from my teacher whilst learning a new language that I am dyslexic to be honest I thought it was myself and my learning abilities! My brother has problems with writing and learning. I am super creative I can pick up instruments and I take to them like it was a part of me! I love drawing and being creative it’s the only things I am good at and I feel at peace! I always been challenged in life when people ask me what do you call this thing in English and I don’t know it really makes me feel I am been put in a corner and I get so frustrated! Nice video and I too played drums when I was in my 20’s it was something I just picked up without any problems and I was in a band! All the best with your vlogs!

I was lucky enough to have relatives who suffered from it and others who were teachers, so got caught early. It allowed me to create lots of strategies, sadly the diagnosis mattered very little to most of my teachers, especially the heads, I was just lazy and not smart. I got put into the lowest section of science until I was allowed to talk about science, the teacher instantly sorted me into the top tier science class, he then ensured I was getting support. I'm now a programmer which doesn't seem like a good career but the out of the box thinking is perfect for it even if I spend more time fixing a variable I have named differently in three places!

Some British people visited Australia and it decided to poor with rain . We were in drought for a long time , then we had strong rain and they complained about it . They said that they thought they were coming to sunshine and that the rain was worse in Australia . After about a week , the sun was blaring and it was about 35 degrees Celsius and then they said that the sun rays were far too strong and hated the really hot weather lol

Glad I found your video! I've known I had a "problem" since grade school. I had difficult reading and spelling among other things. I have always loved the Arts, drawing, acting, writing poetry, short stories, etc. As an adult I took a several online test for dyslexia and I was "positive" for everyone of them. Now at 50 I am wanting to get my Master's in MFT, I have decided to finally get formal testing done. Your video was inspiring. I also am looking into finding ways to work with Dyslexic children. I also still love the Arts! Thanks again for the video!

I had a terrible time learning math in school. I tried so hard. I just couldn’t get it. I would reverse the numbers or it seemed the numbers would just fall out of my head. In the third grade my teacher actually had my classmates laughing at me because I didn’t get it. I also had trouble with directions. Up, down, right, left. Since I’m either handed it seemed to make it harder sometimes. When I was high school my math teacher told my parents he thought I had a form of dyslexia. I now know I have Dyscalculia. I can do simple math. About 3 - 4 grade level. After that. I’m a nervous wreck. I’m happy to know what it is that causes me problems. I’m happy to know I’m not just stupid. Like that terrible teacher said. Good luck to all who suffer Dyslexia or Dyscalculia. ❤❤
