I wish the prime minister slows down on racial, ethnic and religious factors as basis of unity and closeness between nations.

Even with vaccine this flu will never go away. I guess we all have to learn to live with it and can/must not change how we used to go about our day to day lives. Some things needs to get better like keeping up with personal hygiene eg washing hands and having a national HACCP-like standard at eateries/vendors etc but no lockdowns or fear-mongering moves when it is not necessary (except when it is needed)

This is one of more than 30 overseas bridges or even underwater tunnels that I have thought of being useful and necessary to be built. The bridge over the Kerch Strait as well. And the Rion-Antirion Bridge in Greece. It's like I made two predictions to myself. Others that I thought of, but have not been built, but have been proposed are the Bering Strait bridge/tunnel, a tunnel from England to (Northern) Ireland, from Sicily to mainland Italy, from Denmark to Germany, from Estonia to Finland, over the Strait of Marmara, from Spain to Morocco, from northeastern Denmark to Sweden, from Djibouti to Yemen, from Egypt to Saudi Arabia, from Qeshm to maintain Iran, from Oman to Iran, from Qatar to Bahrain, from Sakhalin to mainland Russia, from Sakhalin to Japan, from Japan to South Korea, from South Korea to China, from Taiwan to China, from Hainan to mainland China, the Bohai Strait in China, from India to Sri Lanka, from Malaysia to Sumatra, from Sumatra to Java, from Java to Bali, from Australia to Papua New Guinea, from Tasmania to mainland Australia, over the Cook Strait in New Zealand, from Vancouver Island to mainland British Columbia, from Newfoundland to mainland Newfoundland and Labrador, from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, from Long Island to Rhode Island, from Grand Bahama to Great Abaco, and from Trinidad to mainland Venezuela.

So many interesting options for future infrastructure projects. Construction has begun on the tunnel between Denmark and Germany. Several other major bridge/tunnel projects have been proposed and are being discussed in Denmark currently - the one between northeastern Denmark and Sweden is one of them, but that's honestly looking like a long shot currently. Another contender for the next Denmark-Sweden crossing is the extension of the Copenhagen Metro through a tunnel to Malmö. But there are a couple of major bridges inside Danish territory that are looking far more likely right now, most importantly the new Kattegat bridge (which would become the longest bridge in Denmark) linking Jutland to Zealand and cutting transport time between the two biggest cities by more than an hour. Another interesting proposal is a bridge between Funen and Als. Qeshm to Iran is almost done, I think? It looks like the Messina Strait bridge might back on the table to boost the Corona-stricken Italian economy after it got cancelled 15 years ago. The Tallinn-Helsinki bridge looks likely to happen as well, but now there might be two competing proposals to consider. Long Island-Rhode Island seems like a great idea. I could definitely also see all the bridges in Indonesia happening at some point. But there are a bunch that may seem like a good idea on paper, but also improbable because of politics, scale, profitability etc. - like the Qatar-Bahrain bridge (politics), Taiwan-China (politics), Djibouti-Yemen (because of civil war), Sakhalin-Japan (because of the Kuril Islands). Also not sure about South Korea-Japan (mainly because of the scale of the project, but there's also still post WWII issues to deal with for the two countries). South Korea to China would be over 300 kilometers long, so that honestly seems very unlikely. The Bering Strait bridge would be much shorter by comparison, but there are no populations centres of any significance anywhere near that crossing, there's the arctic weather to consider and finally the cost of building the roads and/or railroads (both virtually non-existing for hundreds, if not thousands of kilometres on either side) all makes this an extremely costly project. Australia-Papua New Guinea would be a very long bridge (over 100 kilometres) to link some very low population areas with limited industry. Tasmania to mainland Australia is over 200 kilometres. The Cook strait bridge might seem comparatively easy compared to some of the others here, but the conditions are quite unfavourable there with the rough weather making a bridge unlikely and the deep water making a tunnel very difficult to build - and the tunnel at the most likely route would probably have to be longer than the Channel Tunnel, which links the UK with mainland Europe, whereas New Zealand is a small country with a population of 5 million, making it seem like it would be prohibitively expensive.
